"Doo doo doo, lookin' out our back door." Anyone know what species this cuddly pair is?

Large moths sleeping on a porch door window.

This Signal debacle reminds me of the movie "The Party" with Peter Sellers. The part where Hrundi Bakshi gets mistakenly added to the guest list.

I think Trump should give a public apology to the people of Canada before any talks about trade. And thank us, too.

To all people who didn't/don't vote... SEE WHAT HAPPENS!? Canadians, we will be asked to choose our future some time in the coming weeks. Do it. Listen, read, watch, and vote. It's your civic duty. Every vote matters.

Flying back to Vancouver from the Philippines, laid over in Incheon. I have the choice of paper towel or air for drying hands. TBH, while air dryers reduce paper consumption, I think paper towel is a better choice for limiting spread of disease. Air dryers aerosolize into the area.

I think that, in NA at least, the spirit of "HELL NO, WE WON'T GO" needs to be rejuvinated.

For the amount everyone says they hate the third last letter, it sure gets lots of airplay

During our neighbours annual Xmas potluck around 5 years back, I was standing in their kitchen chillin and this guy I'd never met looks at me with contempt and says, "You Canadians live in a police state." Is there a "How to be an Ass Abroad" course that some people take? I've seen many alumni.

My bro in law, 56 came up from LA for a visit a week ago and enjoyed a visit with family. Today we hear he had a brain bleed. He's been moved out of ICU. Too far gone. Just a waiting game. Rough. A good man down. Live life and love as best you can, my friends. The lights can go out any time.

I think I get it now. Trump is trying to turn Earth into his Harkonnen Homeworld of Giedi Prime.

@lovirae.bsky.social I'm curious about lovirae. Is it all volunteer? Origin story?

There was a saying on Usenet: Don't feed the trolls. I'm seeing alot of reposts from X. None of them were positive. Can we do better? I humbly ask that we try to leave X to Xers please.

There's a YouTuber I've been subscribed to for a while who has some really great vids for emergency food prep, like canned breads, stews, etc. Moja Kuhinja Tanja. Canned goods don't need electricity. With weather and events becoming more volatile, I think it's worth checking out.

I spent the day yesterday at the Royal Museum in Victoria BC and among the fossils and relics saw my teen years on exhibit.

Watching "RUSH: Time Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland". Is it just me or does Alex look like the Friendly Giant?
