ewan macca @ewanmacca.bsky.social · 23/11/2025Well that was perhaps my worst trip to Anfield since the Hodgson days. My main problem was the atmosphere (yeah, performance on the pitch was dreadful too). All the people who come for the experience need to remember they help create it. Fucking sing FFS. #redsky #liverpool #ynwa ##lfc 050
ewan macca @ewanmacca.bsky.social · 18/11/2025Took a wee stroll around Melrose yesterday. Scotland's scenery is always stunning 000
ewan macca @ewanmacca.bsky.social · 23/10/2025It is frightening that people trained in pedagogy and who should have child wellbeing at the centre of all they do can impose sanctions like this on children. ewan macca @ewanmacca.bsky.social · 12/05/2025Beautiful day in the sun. Not the result I wanted, and I didn't like booing, but not a bad final trip to Anfield this season. #ynwa #lfc 040

ewan macca @ewanmacca.bsky.social · 27/02/2025I've got tickets for the Merseyside derby, my first in the 30+ years I've been going to games. Bucket list stuff in the season WE ARE GOING TO WIN THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE! ewan macca @ewanmacca.bsky.social · 10/02/2025I don't think it was a mistake. We don't have the depth of squad to compete for 4 trophies really. I'm disappointed by the manner of the loss, but the reduction in fixtures in March is fine. The key will be how fresh virg and mo etc look on Wednesday, and the next fortnight 030

ewan macca @ewanmacca.bsky.social · 28/01/2025Yes, but they are boring and don't sell papers or encourage clicking on links... I couldn't actually name the two green leaders off the top of my head, and I consider myself quite up on politics 110
ewan macca @ewanmacca.bsky.social · 28/01/2025Not really about supporters, but i think all grassroots coaches should have to do the refs courses as part of their badges, and ref a couple of games. I was a coach, and I now ref, as does my 16 year old son. My views on top flight refs have changed completely 010
ewan macca @ewanmacca.bsky.social · 26/01/2025I was in Anfield Lower - I've not been there before. My son was in the opposite corner at the top corner of the kop 010
ewan macca @ewanmacca.bsky.social · 22/01/2025This was the best game we got to though - i got unbelievably lucky and got them in the UEFA ballot before the quarter finals. He's wearing my mates hate from Istanbul too 110
ewan macca @ewanmacca.bsky.social · 22/01/2025We normally get to a couple of games a season somehow. I'm in an OLSC so pick up from people not going. Until last season I wouldn't really have wanted him sitting on his own, but he's 16 now and we are hearts season ticket holders, so he can look after himself now. 110
ewan macca @ewanmacca.bsky.social · 22/01/2025I managed to get two singles from friends for me and my son. Got nothing this year in the ballot, and nothing in the late sale on Monday. I'm convinced I'm doing something wrong cos I never get tickets directly anymore... 110
ewan macca @ewanmacca.bsky.social · 22/01/2025Good stats. I think he tries to much and should focus on simple things though. Too often he appears to be looking for the worldie pass, when he should give it to someone else better able to do that. 000

ewan macca @ewanmacca.bsky.social · 18/01/2025If we don't win the league our failure to reinforce a couple of areas will look ridiculous. Our squad is far too thin, and we are one injury in defence from being fucked. 000

ewan macca @ewanmacca.bsky.social · 12/01/2025Now meta is going mad, how do I replace whatsapp? I can live without Facebook, insta and threads (lol). But whatsapp is crucial for work and social stuff, and I can't see how I can disengage from it 000
ewan macca @ewanmacca.bsky.social · 12/01/2025I think Slot was his best chance to succeed as a striker, but he's not learning. Always offside, hits keeper or over bar. Overloads break down if he is involved. I'd move him on now, and get a couple of players in. We need left back, centre back, cdm and a striker urgently to strengthen squad 030
