except this is very obvious in my fics. sorry i wanted an excuse to mention that sternal closures sometimes actually go through the bone and that's not the kind of thing i get to bring up in polite society. sometimes they even screw in plates. or just use special tape + staples which is funny

i know so many random Things and am just constantly trying to come up with excuses to bring them up while trying to keep it from being obvious that's what i'm doing. i am patient. i can wait to bring up that alcohol burns with a nearly invisible flame. that day i will feel SO vindicated
