I am *always* an advocate of folks joining FetLife and looking for local munches. TNG (under 35) ones are great starting places for younger folks looking to meet other folks in their age ranges. I just see so many folks I know bemoaning the lack of connection they feel to other kinky folks, and like

There's also no shame in only just starting out without knowing what you like outside of masturbating to specific kinds of porn. So much of the exploration we've done over the last 7 years has been finding out what we even *like* IRL. And genuinely it's a lot different from what we used to draw!

Plus, and a bit of tough love but the chances of you finding anyone who overlaps with your hyperspecific fantasy kinks IRL is really low, and *that's ok*. More than ok, honestly! So many things that are normalized in the niche furry communities we run in are *so* outside of the norm for IRL stuff -

The axiom I always try to lead with is that kink-specific communities often are a *really* good way to find other neurodivergent, queer-friendly folks who are probably just as bad as socializing as you are, so having a shared interest is already a GREAT starting point for conversation!

Once we move and get our life a bit more settled we really want to run a seminar or panel about exploring kink communities IRL. So many folks we've met have been hesitant to get outside of their bubble and have seen all the cool shit folks are doing IRL as only theoretical, but it *is* possible!

Always an oolong fan, and getting it from a 99 Ranch or Uwajimaya or Hmart means it's pretty cheap and still really good. Just in general black tea from an Asian grocery store is like, our go-to for caffeinated teas (we also homemake boba with ours as getting pearls in bulk is also very cheap)
