I actually took a few shots of "just" the visuals while I was changing camera settings and they're honestly really cool on their own

I thought everyone was talking about That Man Guilty Gear for a minute

Playing fighting games competitively for years has definitely prepared me for 3D modeling in Blender because I have a lot of experience understanding cursed interactions between two boxes

I'm glad my deep seated confusion and disbelief for anyone approaching me with friendly prospects to hangout has at least prevented me from getting hacked through sketchy game mods or fake social apps multiple times despite some hacker's best efforts stay diligent out there folks they're slippery

It seems to save which NPC's you talked to but not collectibles The key items (shards) are global though, so if you make an instance with someone else, it should save your progress on that front by rejoining, I think

Update: you can bypass the temple of epilepsy by activating the 4G tower, redirecting the satellite it powers to the Chaos Emerald in the sky city, which powers a laser under it you can activate to create a shortcut to the Digimon movie room in the temple, which is very close to the Shard of Ohio

120

One of the NPC's literally tells the player "it's art I promise please don't report this world"

no blog post can capture the demon pussy musical scene of Ohio Experience

It is and it's more or less a continuation of it

Related though, if you haven't caught on to me preaching about Shape Collector and its associated series in VRChat, absolutely check that out if you want weird narrative experiences that will make you very curious

030

It took my entire day. 10ish hours driven by deathly curiosity. It takes commitment There's also a half hour sequence of navigating a dungeon where all the walls are made of epilepsy/motion sickness inducing shaders and it is allegedly required to go through it, because the world hates you

230

To be clear, this is likely a top 10 world to me, at least by some measure. I think of it highly. I just don't think many other people would. But I'm weird and the source material is unfortunately relatable (in the funniest way possible) so it speaks to me.

Just got done playing "The Ohio Experience" in VRChat and I don't think I've seen a more unhinged, completely insane crashout-as-art collaborative piece before that It's surreal, absurd, inconvenient to play, strangely raw, cringe and beautiful all at once I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know

This avi is so well made on a technical level and my first thought seeing it was how challenging and unique it must be to make a face tracking mod for it. You did a really good job. Was there anything uniquely different or difficult working with this face in particular with the way it's made?

UN_COMFORTABLE.EXE by @jaimens.com, @eviltoaster.bsky.social, @lesse.bsky.social + Spurg was a inspirational performance through music, poetry & dance. By confronting expectations, ego + fear; through vulnerability, lifting each other up and loving ourselves, we can have peace within. #VRChat

I meant the normal map textures on her body material I was staring at with widowmaker scope to inspect for totally normal reasons but this also sounds funny if true I would do this in a comp game to make everyone play Horizon Lunar Colony again
