Ten Minute Physics then led me to add an Eulerian fluid sim pattern.

Inspired by Mitxela's latest project, I added a FLIP fluid sim pattern to this little motion sensitive Fibonacci256, using code adapted from Ten Minute Physics: matthias-research.github.io/pages

I had just enough parts on hand to build another little 75mm motion sensitive Fibonacci256. Same #Pixelblaze Pico controller by @bhencke.bsky.social. A slightly smaller 2000mAh battery let me make it 3mm thinner, and the bezel smaller.

This little motion-sensitive 75mm Fibonacci256 prototype might be my favorite new thing I've made in a while. This was totally inspired by @starduststorm.art's brilliant "The Hexagon" which you should definitely go buy instead of waiting for me to make more of these. 😁 www.tindie.com/products/sta...

CMYK Frog! 406 tool changes over 3h 22m print time. 6g of purge waste for a 55.3g print. Overhangs are a bit droopy, had to clean up lots of stringing and a few blobs, I'll have to do some calibration for this filament.
Isometric view of a Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and BlacK plastic 3D printed tree frog, along with a small pile of purge waste pellets.
The frog has yellow eyes with black pupils. Its body is blue with black spots, a black stripe, and a magenta stripe.Rear isometric view of the same frog's back and left sides.Bottom view of the same plastic frog. Its blue belly has some signs of drooping unsupported bridges.

Not bad for my first four-color INDX print, with some ancient PLA filament! I haven't done any cleanup. Pictured above is all of the waste from this print.
Photo of a small white 3D printed plastic tag, with the text "ORIGINAL PRUSA". The O is black, "RIGINIAL" is blue, and "PRUSA" is red.
Above the tag is a small pile of tiny plastic pellets, each a different color.

Calibration took a while, but it's finally operational! I knew tool changes were fast, but seeing it in person is impressive!

I drew the rest of the owl. Power on, calibration, and testing will have to wait.

Now it's finally starting to look like a tool-changer.

That's the Gen2 heatbed and coreXY GT1.5 belt upgrade sorted, ready to install the INDX toolhead. I wonder how many Core Ones are out there rocking an original i3 heatbed. 😆

With the INDX 4-tool conversion kit for my @prusa3d.com CORE One scheduled for delivery today, it is once again time to disassemble my perfectly functional 3D printer. 😁 This will be the fourth time I've upgraded this printer, which I assembled as an i3 MK3S+ kit five years ago.

Perlin noise flow field pattern. Particles follow a noise flow field that slowly evolves over time. The flow field has a strong upward bias. Each particle leaves a fading trail drawn from the currently selected color palette. Particles respawn at the bottom when they drift off-screen or age out.

It's an "antimatter for breakfast" kind of morning. And homemade Guinness beer bread. And Fibonacci1024. And #Pixelblaze.
Photo of a white desk top with the following on top of it:

A glass of dark liquid (cold brew coffee). The glass is shaped like a beverage can, and has the following text on the label:
"Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co
Item No. 01138 Made In U.S.A.
Economy Grade Antimatter
One Pint
Sourced Within The Five Boroughs

A slice of dark bread with a generous amount of butter spread on it, on a small dark blue plate.

A black dark disk covered in bright blue LEDs. The LEDs are arranged in a Fibonacci / Fermat's spiral / phyllotaxis pattern (like the head of a sunflower) displaying a swirly pattern with three spiral arms.

By request: Fibonacci256 Expanding HDR with circles instead of straight Voronoi grid lines. Both grids are 4mm thick with 1mm gap between the grid and LED PCB. Next I'll try both with thinner grids and larger gaps for a more diffused look.
