There's also no delivery timeline. The government's own release confirms these projects have only been "approved to proceed to detailed design stage" not construction. Patients won't see the benefit this winter, and likely not next winter either.

Whilst we always welcome investment in the NHS, we need to point out that today's £1.5bn announcement isn't new money. It's drawn entirely from the £6.75bn Estates Safety Fund confirmed last year. Genuine progress needs genuine new investment, not the same pot re-announced.
