“What?” Medic stared blankly at his younger teammate.

“Doc! What the hell’ve ya got there?! It-it’s drippin’ n’ crap, man!” Scout had moved just so that he could cast a sideways glance in the other’s direction. He slowly edged out a few minute steps from Engineer.

The Texan tried his best to comfort, putting a hand on the other’s shoulder, “Son, I’m sure he’s got it all under control-”

“Engie!” Scout nearly shouted, slapping his hand away. “Y’can’t just ignore alla dat! It-” - he shrunk again behind his teammate, whimpering, - “Is that blood?”

Medic cocked his head, “Yes?”

“Yipe! Get me outta here!” Scout seemed to sprint away from both Medic and Engineer faster than his normal 17 mph gait.

The remaining pair stood in silence until Engineer finally said, “I guess I’ll leave you to it,” and walked away. Medic sighed and continued toward the base’s entrance.
