don't get me wrong, lover era was amazing and lover is a really good album and daylight is an absolutely beautiful song but i cannot seem to handle the anxiety in afterglow. like at all. it starts with "card sharks playing games" in cornelia street and ends up with I AM THE ONE WHO BURNED US DOWN?

the way taylor always acknowledges our support and makes it known that she is where she is because of us, fans, is why we keep on staying after 18 years. the media didn't do it, the music critics didn't do it; it's us and her, always

tay saying this was the most extraordinary chapter of her life SO FAR makes me want to sob because back in 2018/2019 that girl thought her days doing what she loved were numbered and close to an end and now she just KNOWS that she has so many more memorable days ahead

what if i get taken off the waitlist for vancouver and accidentally purchase myself and oomfs tickets for one of the last shows and then accidentally fly across the country to meet them and drive up to bc and then accidentally finally get a fearless surprise song and then cry

i just heard my baby's heartbeat for the first time so taylor swift will have to forgive me because the intro to fearless has now been downgraded to second place on my list of favorite sounds in the entire world 😭

'no one's ever had me, not like you' is one of taylor's most romantic lines when you put it into context that it is part of a song in the same album where she stated in the prologue that none of her previous romantic partners scratched the surface of who she is as a person
