Close-up (macro) of a small wildflower jutting up into the frame at an angle from the lower left. It appears to be made up of a cluster of smaller flowers, each with vibrant lilac petals emerging from oblong ribbed off-white bulbs. At the center of each smaller flower is a pale yellow stamen. The mossy green stem stands out from the brighter out-of-focus greens and a splash of orange in the background.

A landscape frame filled with blue sky and scattered clouds, distant peaks in the very bottom of the frame. A single sturdy and striated dusty green stalk juts into the air about a third of the way in from the left side. At the end of the stalk is a flattened green ball with long wavy spikes sticking out. Above that is an orderly tuft of fine lavender bristles. This is a single desert thistle blossom jutting into the sky.

Close-up (macro) of a cluster of sunflowers with one large blossom taking up most of the frame and bleeding off the edges off-center to the right. There are two more blossoms receding into the distance behind it and to the left, with a little bit of greenery behind. The flowers have a big fuzzy-looking dark brown ball dusted with tiny yellow mini-flowers. The petals are a striated deep red-orange towards the center, becoming pure yellow towards the tips. The petals are curled toward the ends, making them look almost like tentacles.

Close-up (macro) of a ball-shaped dahlia in reddish pink almost fills the frame, off-center to the right. The petals are squashed tubes, a stippled gradient of reddish pink on the inside, and a very pale yellow-peach on the outside. The stem of the bloom arcs away from behind the upper left of the ball into the background. The background is out-of-focus greens, yellow-greens, and one fuzzy peach spot of another blossom in the far upper left.

I was thinking about how to improve the contrast for the silver griffin prints, and remembered that I had some stamping embossing powder. Blog post: evermorestud.io/embossed-gri... Short video: youtube.com/shorts/Dt2ks... #LinoCut #Printmaking #TinyArt #Griffin #EraserStamp
The left half of a landscape-format piece of paper has been colored blue with watercolor paint, and the right half red. Embossed in metallic silver is a left-facing griffin (a beast with the head, wings, and front claws of an eagle, and the body of a lion) passant (standing flat with one claw raised) surrounded by a rectangular border. The print is signed with a stylized A in the lower right corner. The background (behind the print) is purple.

Close-up (macro) of an orange-yellow flower with eight petals. It is angled a little away from the camera so that the top petals look shorter than those on the bottom. The edges of the petals are a little jagged, and are visibly divided into three lobes with creases running the length of the petals. In the middle is an octagonal star of black filaments tipped with darker orange anthers, with a very pale yellow diamond in the very center. The background is mostly out-of-focus greenery with one other flower visible towards the bottom.

Close-up (macro) side view of a peach-pink rose. The blossom more than fills the frame, and is facing up and to the right. There are at least seven concentric rings of petals. The color in the center mass of the blossom is a deep peach color, with the petals becoming a pale peachy-pink towards the edges. The blossom almost seems to be glowing.
