cooked for the house for the first time in a bit: bucatini with meatballs deglazed with pinot. No picture because my plating was bad and i'm hungry

listening to a dev stream conversation while holding a conversation with the guildies in discord about the dev stream while participating in a meeting with the Terrans. Call me Prince Shotoku the way I be in these conversations

Have a pretty established guild that ran through all of SoD and had a blast. We'll play pve and I'll let you know what faction we decide, you are welcome to join if it fits your plans

yeah, I think they're finally going towards a 'fuck it we're doing it THIS way' method now. Which idk but at the end of the day I'm not nearly that enthusiast and it's just a triump the way that stock linux actually 'just works' now. My first forray into Linux I somehow borked my desktop mananger

it can be as little effort as you want really, for me Fedora Plasma + run everything in steam really just does work for 99% of what I needed. Like even compared to just 5 years ago the entire experience is night and day it's crazy

stress eating or appetite returning? it's anyone's bet

everfeather@Deermans @everfeather.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

yeah, ultimately i'm much more happy that we get more faithful adaptations but I do feel we lost a bit of creative director expression along the way (in general not a bleach thing)

gotcha! Bleach was the first anime series I ever sought out and got from the web myself, it was greenlit pretty early so it was in that era where they just ran out of material and started doing their own filler, definitely what killed the show at the time for me

100

everfeather@Deermans @everfeather.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

gotcha, I was thinking about watching it since I enjoyed my read. Also are we doing like a there is no Tsukihime anime thing? I thought the 04 was good until they just started doing random filler and like the back end of the soul society arc

@drkotobuki.bsky.social Are you watching the original or the new thousand year blood war? I just finished the manga not too long ago and ended up liking it much more than I thought with the exception of some very final sticking the ending type stuff

I'll take a look at this. I came from a Corsair mouse that I had to use custom firmware with already which was honestly a pretty good replacement besides some major features being deprecated, shame their hardware just doesn't hold up anymore either

Now tell me it has easily programmable overrides on it's buttons and works with Linux 🥹
