Speed Racer, watched January 21st, 2026. It’s peak. The general consensus about this movie when it first came out was so off the mark. I’ve spent every day since I watched wanting to watch it again. I’ve never seen a movie so good that movie-goers just didn’t understand how good it was.

Saving Private Ryan, watched on January 4th, 2026. On the subject of living up to their reputation, one of Spielberg’s best. Yes it’s the quintessential “dad movie,” yes it’s still good. I can’t believe how good of an actor Damon was so early in his career.

I was also thinking it should be longer than 15 minutes, but with the Entry Phase being 18 minutes I could see them not wanting a single match to take up too much of the show. The solution to this though is "shorten the intervals between entrants."

I kinda want an Iron Man variant where you get points based on how long your opponent's shoulders were on the mat. So like a 3-count is 3 points, but if they kick out at 1 you still at least put points on the board. But the count doesn't have to stop at 3, so Kenny hits the OWA and shoots up by 10.

I think it might be better for ROH if there was a hard divide between it and AEW. Like as someone who only occasionally tunes in to ROH, it really feels like the “little brother” promotion. Every non-champion ROH regular who shows up on AEW gets treated like a local talent.

He’s turning in 10/10 matches instead of 12/10 like he was in NJPW. But he (and others) had to do that in NJPW because the booking was such shit, if the matches weren’t unbelievable nobody would watch. Now that he has a competent booker, he can afford to not kill himself every week.
