I think it’s so important to get to know the people you are shooting with too. @seraphinaarts.bsky.social I feel like wouldn’t have been able to capture her with out those convos we always have during the shoot #photographer #blacksky #style #nyc #brooklyn #blackphotographer #fujifilm #x100vi #xt5

Ok let’s back into this! @seraphinaarts.bsky.social was in NY earlier this month and it’s always an amazing time shooting with her! I love listening to her thoughts and introspection of the world, there is never enough time!

If we can't think for ourselves, if we're unwilling to question authority, then we're just putty in the hands of those in power.

Hello! Would you happen to know the process of being a photographer or a videographer in the industry? Is it who you know, or hoping someone responds back to a message when a person inquires?

Not that I have any sagely advice to give, but I’ve learned to not be burden by failure when it comes to shooting. I am always learning and humbled every opportunity I get to do this. If I can do it, I know you can too! #photography #blackphotographer #nyc #brooklyn #blacksky #justdoit #fujifilm

Oh nice!! I have never used capture one, I wonder how different it is from Lightroom. What are your thoughts on it?

Richie M @evaunitz.bsky.social · 29/03/2025

Wait! You tether your camera to it as well?? I never thought about that! May I ask what gear you are using?

There are shots I see and say “Man I wish I took that shot 😭”

I absolutely agree! It was the point of the shoot where we were getting really comfortable and vibe-y with shooting and posing too. I wish I took more but my studio time was running out, always happens that way 😭😭
