Your turn indicator communicates intent, not permission.

NOTE: This is a new game compared to the posts I made a few weeks ago.

About 1/2 through Mark Herman's Empire of the Sun. The war in Europe is going badly for the Allies. U.S. political will has fallen and will likely fall further in the next 4 turns. The Philippines and Burma have surrendered. China and India are next. Japan is in good shape with 10 oil resources.

You have to make Cancel Step discs in Neptunia Unlimited. They dramatically change combat as they allow you to cancel moves in to dashes to avoid attacks, which allows you to keep your combos (and your damage bonuses) going longer.

Turns out the motivation companies needed all along to spell out clear requirements and documentation was to attempt to replace human labor with robots.

Neptunia Unlimited. Rouge finally finds her courage to transform and Red Heart officially joins the team! She represents the Nintendo Switch 2. When she's in human form, she lacks confidence. When she's in goddess form, she has an overabundance of confidence. (Get it?)

Neptunia Unlimited has a setting for the frequency of an "apocalypse forecast". Game of the year.

LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Less than twenty-four hours to go before the launch of Neptunia 5! Or 8, depending on how much you lean in to the numbering joke.

The Allies have to bomb Tokyo all four turns. Losing all of their carriers is actually a condition that loses them a point of political will.

000

EvaUnit02 @evaunit02.com · 24/08/2026

Japan wins immediately if they reduce the allied political will to zero. Otherwise, they have to hold out and prevent the U.S. from bombing tokyo over the last four turns of the game.

Empire of the Sun. Turn 5: Commonwealth and U.S. forces push further north in to Malaya. A modest Allied air raid on Saigon is repelled by the bulk of the Japanese Imperial air forces. Turn 6: U.S. naval and AAF forces take the Marshalls as a staging ground toward Marcus Island and Iwo Jima.

I think both of us feel the war is going poorly but historically, it's almost beat-for-beat just with some minor differences (such as Japan occupying Midway, albeit briefly) I think leaving India and China out-of-command was a mistake on my part but I might be able to correct it.

The Open Source Maintenance Fee is such a slimey concept. Just charge money like a normal business, which is what you are.

I wasn't going to call you out, heh.

EvaUnit02 @evaunit02.com · 19/08/2026

Empire of the Sun. Turn 3: Japan attacks Midway and holds it for a few months until the Americans reclaim the atoll. Allied forces group in the Caroline Islands. Turn 4: Allied forces defend Singapore and Japan flees Malaya. Japan pivots to cut off Chinese forces and march toward India.

Tomoko Kawase is just the best.

Empire of the Sun. Turn 1: Japan attacks Pearl Harbor and causes significant damage. Turn 2: The allied reinforcements get delayed due to the war in Europe. The allies consequently shuffle units to key positions. Japan invades and captures Singapore.
