How good is the AI tool of choice at taking liability when a stakeholder’s value wasn’t defined?

“We have to give them something other than the outputs.” So that means agency over priorities and decision-making. Without that, let the client or employer decision-maker face consequences of leaving any gaps they didn’t have time or expertise to consider in the requirements gathering.

These are marketing websites delivered by a branding design studio, but not demonstrating a system, like a public service. Right now, it’s just in service to one person’s name and their tainted brand.

No information hierarchy or representation of how new content would get published on the home page. I had to inform my manager that this felt like a problem. Sounds like a marketing hype train has created brain rot where there was once expertise from those at 18F.

It’s what I called brochureware back in 2010. I was working at a certification non-profit org and the marketing VP hired some agency to rebrand the org. They presented their website design in Netscape Navigator with a home page that only had a catchy marketing tagline and graphic.

There’s no algorithm that can predict the randomness of when you’re in the mood for something different and it’s not something it can pull from someone on your social graph or what you did a search for. Maybe if Elon can convince you to buy a neurological link to your brain. 🤣

CHOP has saved both my kids from ravages of a rare genetic disease. They helped justify my diligence to stop an Rx insurance company from denying an easier-to-deliver specialty medication for daily injections for my children, especially one terrified of needles due more impatient labs elsewhere.

The role of a public corporation exec prioritizes and rewards shareholder wealth over and at times in conflict with the public good, personal ethics, and for the benefit of the self. Tim Cook has to sleep at night focusing on the good things Apple products are doing.

This knowledge made for a great brief quiet conversation informing them about some contexts of the term “Dixie” and how it can be associated with a history of the Dixiecrats and the evils of slavery-based economics. We briefly talked about how the Nazis chased away their family members.

I’ve always been a bit of a history geek and love to learn origin stories. I’m sure my 8 am post-civil war American history professor at Penn State Abington covered it. I amazingly never missed that class.

@kevinmkruse.bsky.social I can’t thank you enough for teaching so many through Twitter (and here) about the southern strategy. It just helped me inform some people I overheard talking about why I assume the Dixie Chicks changed their band name to just “The Chicks.”

The only time I didn’t mind this experience is when I stumbled upon Mistral AI and the cookie consent design they use from www.axept.io which was a more user-friendly way to get tracking cookie consent.

An alternative is making a more deliberate social commentary that resonates with your peers. Like this:
An image of Destro and Baronness, a couple of terrorists determined to rule the world and lose every time.A photo of Stephen and Katie Miller, a Jew-ish (?) couple who support paying domestic terrorists, including one who wore a Camp Auschwitz hoodie when they tried to stop a free and fair election on Jan 6th.

Now you can expand into new areas, like the quality of the drink ware they’re offering. Disney Parks used to offer high quality metal cups with great design work from Whirley Drinkworks.

Shooting and editing a 2-hr movie takes less time than the 8-12 hours of a TV season. Creating a TV season, even a short one, is quantifiably more work than delivering a movie.

Bad integration between Verizon and Disney+. It wasn’t bad when HBO and Disney teamed up for an ad-free bundle. Their customer support merged both of my accounts and made it easy. Verizon is not in the business of a good user experience.

@brianmbendis.bsky.social I once asked why you had young characters in your comics say Yiddish phrases, questioning that kids do that. Today I heard a mid-20s woman who was not a Caucasian Ashkenazi Jewish person say “Oy vey.” My first thought was “I was wrong for questioning Bendis.”

Many of my favorite writers at the Post left for other outlets: The Bulwark, MS Now (awful rebrand, but many good reporters), etc. Philadelphia Inquirer is not corporate or billionaire owned with concerns about politicians influencing their data mining or private space rocket businesses.

Since we're just giving these away now, it took just minutes to "earn" this Nobel Prize. Alt text for a11y and for extra snark. www.theverge.com/24242800/ai-...
An obviously AI-generated photo of a designer holding the Nobel Peace Prize, which our arrogant, insecure, egomaniacal dictator wannabe thinks he earned by pressuring someone else to give him. The designer has photo editing skills, but is using Gemini to comment on the social problems and ease with which one can spread disinformation today, as it's faster and cheaper than ever with nearly no effort to get consumer grade software that can generate fake images, and even remove the Google Gemini Gem watermark icon that was on the bottom using Apple Photos. If you've made it this far, thank you, and appreciate you for checking out the alt tags for a11y needs.

My daughter started her Hanukkah scared to put out her mini LED menorah at school. A painful reminder that we must live cautiously, as we’re never safe. But also to not live fearfully. I’m reminded of symbolism of circles used during my wedding, a bride circling the groom, wearing rings, etc.

Just recently joined. Smartest thing I’ve ever seen any business executive ever say: why raise price on something that makes my customers well-fed so they shop longer and leave feeling like they got a deal. Staff keeps lines moving. It’s always busy even on an average weekday. Brilliant businessman.
