Sometimes you just need to draw something really stupid before drawing something more important.

More beautiful mushrooms spotted in my yard

Little red mushrooms spotted in my backyard. Should probably do some research to identify them.

The ones I missed were mostly blues for some ?

I think ive just about reached a point where im happy enough with this to actually share it here.

I think it at least holds up nicely as a nice refresh of the same ideas if nothing else. I also like that it still looks mostly black without having to actually use black. Thats always a plus. (Comparison below)

Tbh this design has kept the same vibes for a long time (which makes sense, since it's me, insert 'kin shit here etc etc.) but I really wanted to add more visual interest to it so I pulled a lot from red eyed crocodile skins and vampire betta fish for the color patterns and textures. I hope it shows

Really need to finish thes but I am still in love with the progress.

Out with the old, in with the new.

evanterhune ΘΔ @evanterhune.bsky.social · 11/12/2025

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm working on yet another unnecessary but long overdue revamp on the old design plus a fancy alternate version for fun. Forced to finally address the fucking wings. That is going to take a hot minute tbh.

Deciding to be more open in a new discord server is so fucking daunting but nevertheless I persist because there's a few people I like to think I know fairly well and trust so. Yeah.

evanterhune ΘΔ @evanterhune.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

I should probably make a more proper/finished-looking ref sheet soon. Needs a bit of an update anyway due to small stylistic changes.
