Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 11hIt's about desensitising the people to public executions whilst setting a precedent which will help intimidate trump's enemys. 031
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 08/10/2026exposed the corruption, the greed, the selfishness, and the lack of safeguards to prevent this kind of abuse from occurring. Major changes are needed to your system. 000
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Trump is not the real problem here. He would never have succeeded if he had not been enabled by 2/3rds of the voters (those who voted for him and those who couldn't be bothered voting), the entire Republican party, SCOTUS, the media, and a few corrupt dems. trump has ripped away the veneer and 110
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Until you do - the rest of the world will never trust the USA. 030
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Can't go wrong (for a politician) if you aim at the lowest common denominator. There are so many of them. 020
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 07/10/2026These are 8 tracks. I remember fitting one into my first car. 0100
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 07/10/2026I'm this old. There were no such things as cds, cassettes, colour tvs, remotes. I was 9 before we got our first b&w tv (2 channels). 0231
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 07/10/2026This may well be your last chance to all stand up and be counted. If there are enough of you - ICE is powerless. 120
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Sounds like trump is cashing out before taking a runner. The midterms have clearly gotten him rattled. 000
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 06/10/2026A sign at our local indoor pool. My response - "THANKS FOR RUINING IT FOR ALL OF US SPIDERMAN!!!!!" 020
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Yanks have forgotten that with every freedom there is a corresponding responsibility. The cost of living in a civilised society. 171
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 06/10/2026I saw American adults push a group of kids aside so they could get on the bus. They took it badly when I intervened (Aussie here) and informed the African American bus driver who refused to let them on until the kids were allowed on first (Asian kids). Never seen so much racism and "FU - I am ok" 030
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 06/10/2026change groups. It is possible with most men (not all - unfortunately a few were psychotic and not prepared to try and change). 000
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 06/10/2026The best way to change men thinking they are owed by women is to start teaching social skills including respect at primary school age. The next generation of men will be better for it. They might even be able to influence their elders. I've worked with over a thousand DV perpetrators in behaviour 140
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 06/10/2026These "men" need to be made examples of via long prison sentences. Let others know that this is not ok. 060
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Not true. We have several coffee chains here in Australia that produce beautiful coffee. Starbucks is not one of them. They opened a large number of outlets here some years ago. Within 12 months - they were all gone. We are used to good coffee here - not the burnt syrup sweetened starbucks rubbish. 030
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Still breaching the court order. And no repercussions. The rule of law has failed in the USA. 1976
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 05/10/2026There is hope for the gene pool. These people also do not believe in vaccines. Given time - they will remove themselves from the gene pool. 130
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 05/10/2026All groups are "strengthened" by differentiating themselves from those outside the group. To counter divisiveness, hatred, discrimination, sexism, racism, agism, etc..., we must start teaching mutual respect, conflict resolution skills, and critical thinking skills from primary school age. 010
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I reckon it is a carrot and stick approach rather than one or the other. Offer them a reward for capitulating whilst ensuring they have been threatened as to the consequences if they do not. Most likely, threats have been made towards their families, and there have been examples made of some. 000
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 05/10/2026It is unbelievable how courage and integrity are missing from those in power. They all need to go. 040
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Turn it into a rubbish landfill area. Call it The Trump Dump. 010
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Reminds me of when trump swore "they" were eating the cats and dogs. 010
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I think that if enough people block ICE vehicles with their own cars, lock them and leave - that will ruin ICE's day. 0112
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I worked in the judicial system for many years - I recall reading stats that only 2% of rape claims were false. That means 98% of all rape claims were true. That's a stat worth remembering. 021

Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 30/09/2026My god - that is a quarter of the age of the oldest rock art found in the Kimberley region of Western Australia (17,300 years old). Even older is some rock engravings in the Pilbara region estimated to be up to 40,000 years old. 0112
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Flaming follicles - full on f's for the flaky foolish fickle fornicating senator. 000
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Actually it is not. A mental illness is a disease. One cannot blame the sufferer for being sick. Maga's do not get a pardon - they knew what they were doing when they voted for trump. They made a choice - be it an ill informed one. 1131
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 29/09/2026I used to work with DV victims. There were occasions when I wanted to suggest that they must have a couple of good friends or relatives who could sort out their abuser. I did use to have "back door" chats with a magistrate who tended to then throw the book at the perpetrator. One does what one can. 1134
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 29/09/2026As a male, I can assure you that it was not and cannot have been your fault. Sexual violence is a choice made by men who perpetrate. I, personally have always been able to choose to respect a woman's wishes. If I can do it, so can every other male. 0113
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 29/09/2026before voting for them especially if they are new to politics. I am a firm believer in the walk being more revealing than the talk. 000
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Many of them do - tho we don't always know what concessions the governing party would give in exchange for their support - maybe a worthwhile trade? Maybe they are selling out. There are some with integrity - David Pocock and the Teals come to mind. I would research each candidates background 100
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 29/09/2026We have similar problems to the USA. Big money influencing our politicians. Fortunately, unlike the USA, we have preferential voting. This enables us to vote for Independents without wasting our vote. I am hopeful that the Independents will hold the balance of power after the next election. 100
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 28/09/2026That is as far as I read (or listen). Nothing he says is of interest - he tends to contradict himself soon after, or his minders will claim he was joking, or he just forgets what he previously said. 120

Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Yup, we travelled to the USA precovid and were shocked at the low standard of infrastructure maintenance (roads, very loud brakes on passenger trains, etc..). Australia is not perfect, but we certainly have a much better standard of living. 130
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Errr just "working" people? What about stay at home parents? People with disabilities? Children? Retired people? Unemployed people looking for work? etc.... 000

Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 28/09/2026I ended up with a psych degree and worked in DV programs. Part of my job included assessing court mandated perpetrators for suitability for inclusion in behaviour change groups. I honed my critical thinking skills on these guys. 010
Evan @evanstopthekilling.bsky.social · 28/09/2026I have known people like that (past tense). Being a trump supporter is a deal breaker for me. Must look after my own sanity. 110
