He was a true star back then. Dude was EVERYWHERE! Music videos, radio, TV (Miami Vice cameos), awards shows, etc. He was right up there with Madonna and Michael in terms of 80s icons. I was always more partial to Peter Gabriel but Phil was a FORCE!

Never been! We had planned to go there for our honeymoon and then 9/11 happened. We got married 6 weeks later so we scrapped flying. This is kind of 25 years in the making...haha. We have a midnight graveyard tour setup as well as a voodoo history tour. Going to do the fanboats as well!

Does sound like a really cool, historic place to visit. We're just re-starting that phase of our lives now that the girls are older. We're hitting New Orleans for the first time for our 25th anniversary in October. We have so many sites already pinned on our map!
