To everyone criticising FA for asking for donations: Wikipedia fundraises basically all the time now by covering half of yout page with a donation tab and its not controversial. FA is much smaller and supported by a much smaller community, while facing FAR MORE scrutiny for hosting adult content.

If anything, I think a flawed character making you annoyed at their actions is a triumph. IRL, you can't overcome your flaws in the span of a Disney-princess song. Giving Artbe the chance to be seen as a flawed individual and have to actually work HARD to improve himself makes him feel more real.

Letting the characters take time to overcome their problems instead of resolving them quickly was also great to see. I feel like other stories tend to rush important character development. I'm no professional writer so take all this with a grain of salt, but I thoroughly enjoyed My Remise. (3/3)

The queer elements were handled well and seeing Leof and Art develop a sweet relationship was great. The intimate scenes between them were also a delight. As someone who has went through self-doubt, denial and stigma, Art's insecurities and his reaction to slurs were painfully relatable. (2/3)
