Taking the opportunity to lighten my watchlists with a triple feature: Phantom Project, Ghost Squad, and A Useful Ghost.
Three movie posters: 1. Phantom Project, showing a white sketchy silhouette standing over a shirtless man laying in bed. 2. Ghost Squad, showing a group of four fashionable Japanese girls holding sci-fi weapons. 3. A Useful Ghost, showing a man looking down on a red vacuum cleaner with the hose curling above to create the image of a woman's floating, disembodied head.

#TFTQ Tuesday ended up blue-balling with nothing but bluebells, boxers and bikes after all. Bananas!
Instead of following through on the umpteenth "TFTQ Tuesday" promise to update his 2020 charity Kickstarter backers on unfulfilled pledges he's lied about shipping since 2022, Red Cabin Comics' Frazer Brown spent his April 7 announcement date posting wilderness pics, bike ride video and a snap from a boxing movie set. I found this new update to the Medium platform to be hilariously apropos. #TFTQ
Screenshot from the Red Cabin Comics Medium page with the platform's new "Activity" tab selected. Page reads "Red Cabin Comics has no recent activity yet."

RCC first posted to the platform in June 2025 promising long awaited updates for backers of its unfulfilled 2020 Kickstarter campaign. RCC's latest post to the platform was made in August 2025, still without addressing the status of backer pledges, some of which were falsely declared "shipped" in 2022/2023.

RCC owner Frazer Brown (and only known employee) declared a social media break at the start of 2026, stating that the "appropriate teams" would be handling the RCC accounts, to which no substantial further updates have been made. Frazer posted to the RCC TikTok on Feb. 14 promising a "TFTQ Tuesday" update to come, which never happened in keeping with his ceaseless pattern of announcing backer updates and not following through since August of 2023.

And, if it wasn't obvious enough, Frazer doesn't give a fuck what people think of him not accounting for the £37k people paid him to fund production of a charitable publication in 2020. His latest story on TikTok is a woman singing "I don't give a fuck anymore, fuck anymore" on repeat. #TFTQ
Screenshot of a TikTok story by FrazerBrownOfficial showing a woman in a red top smiling as the audio sings "I don't give a fuck anymore" on repeat.

Frazer lied to his Kickstarter backers in 2022 and 2023 about the partial fulfillment of TFTQ books he still has yet to prove even exist. His last address to backers about pledge statuses was July 2023 (when he doubled down on the previous December shipping lies).

Hilariously, the RCC Threads broke it's dormancy three months to the day of announcing a one-week break. Dude really loves his three month revival cycle.
Screenshot of a Red Cabin Comics Threads post featuring artwork by Alex Raymond and a desperate slew of hashtag topics. Artwork shows a suited man in a cap with a cigar protectively brandishing a handgun over a fallen woman in a dress.

Red Cabin Comics posts content like this instead of addressing TFTQ Kickstarter backers who have been owed books that Frazer Brown lied about partially shipping in 2022/23. No proof exists that any of the books, paid for in 2020, were even produced to this day.

Like clockwork, Frazer dons his "serious comic company" cosplay a week ahead of Though Bubble with new posts to #RedCabinComics socials that don't address why 75% of #TFTQ Kickstarter backers still don't have books they paid for in 2020 — 160 of which he lied about shipping in 2022/23.
Screenshot of a Red Cabin Comics instagram post showing a video clip on the left (a glitchy image of a Moon with a headline "Signal Received" followed by an image of an old-school TV screen with the TFTQ comic logo). The post caption reads "Nuntii imminentes" (or "imminent news" in Latin) followed by a desperate slew of hashtag topics.

TFTQ Kickstarter backers have not been addressed since summer 2023 regarding Frazer's refusal to fulfill their pledges for a charity comic anthology they paid for in 2020. Frazer announced the beginning of book shipments in December 2022 for 160 backers, though none arrived. He repeated that lie in July 2023, claiming "rescheduling." To date, all backers of the full anthology (75% of the campaign's 814 backers) are owed a book that's aggressively unproven to even have been produced.

Tomorrow would be a great day for Frazer to revive the Medium blog he launched in June (after Kickstarter restricted him) to share "news, updates, announcements, and articles"—on which he has continued to avoid the topic of long-overdue #TFTQ pledge fulfillment.
Screenshot of Red Cabin Comics's Medium blog, launched in June 2025 after Kickstarter flagged the campaign for delinquency and restricted Frazer Brown from creating new crowdfunding campaigns until he meaningfully addresses his fulfillment. The blog received 5 posts between June and August:

First, the launch announcement promising meaningful updates about product fulfillment.

Second, a (seemingly AI generated) complaint about contributing creators making DMCA copyright claims about his continued use of creative works they have withdrawn from the project in his social promotions.

Third, a navel-gazey post about the campaign's heyday and wealth of promise that remains unfulfilled. In it, he promises "Updating all remaining Kickstarter backers with clear, finalised timelines for shipping, digital access, and public release" in the weeks ahead.

Fourth and fifth, two posts related to the debut of leftover lower-tier items from the campaign on a charity auction.

Updates to the blog stopped on August 4.

Will Frazer Brown of Red Cabin Comics break 27 months of silence on #TFTQ Kickstarter pledge fulfillment tomorrow to commemorate 5 years since 814 backers paid him £37k to produce a comic book that still doesn't exist? (See Alt Text for more context.) www.kickstarter.com/projects/the...
Screenshot of an update made by Frazer Brown to the TFTQ comic Kickstarter page in July of 2023.

Purple arrows and boxes indicate key highlights which I’ll excerpt here:

Callout 1: A red notification banner at top stating how Kickstarter found Frazer to be in violation of his responsibilities as a campaign creator and restricts his ability to use the platform for new crowdfunding efforts. Text reads:

“Kickstarter has restricted this creator

Kickstarter’s Trust & Safety team has investigated user reports associated with this project and/or its creator. We have reached out to the creator multiple times requesting project updates and communication with backers. As the creator has not responded or provided updates in over 90 days, we have restricted the creator’s account from launching future projects on Kickstarter. Thank you to everyone who sent in reports.”

End of banner.

Callout 2: The campaign completion summary, which reads:
“814 backers pledged £37,185 to help bring this project to life.
Last updated February 2, 2025”

Callout 3: The title and date of the last campaign update addressing any pledge fulfillment, which reads:

“JULY UPDATE 2023 - GENERAL UPDATE - CHARITY DONATIONS - SUPERDELUXE - HARDBACK - SHIPPING LATEST.
Frazer Brown
Creator
July 6, 2023”

ALT Text continues on second image.
Second half of a screenshot from a TFTQ Kickstarter update #113 (made July 2023). Two key passages outlined in purple squares, excerpted here.

Callout 1: Frazer’s last material mention of pledge statuses to date. Excerpt reads:

“I have shipped all of the paperbacks outside of the UK, I have moved the hardbacks into storage whilst I dealt with my health, but the rest of the UK Paperbacks and Hardbacks will be my priority moving forward, followed by International Hardback Orders.

The Super Deluxe and collector sets are a more complicated beast, I have an issue with one creative who’s work is in the book, unfortunatley that needs to be resolved. I don’t anticipate it taking much longer, and then shipping can begin. If you ordered the collectors set you should have your variants, poster and other extras already (UK and International) if that is not the case, please let me know.”

End of excerpt.

(Note: Frazer first announced this shipment happened in December of 2022, but nothing arrived. After this second announcement, no book has still arrived for any backer. No individual tracking was provided. No picture proof of books has ever been shared. Backers’ fulfillment statuses remain unshipped and address-locked in BackerKit since August of 2021. No further update has been provided to paperback backers in the UK, nor global backers of the hardcover and deluxe since the time of this campaign post.)

Callout 2: Frazer’s proposal to finish all campaign fulfillment within that next month in 2023. Excerpt reads:

“Our current schedule looks like this:

Wrap up despatched tiers
Donate net profits from dispatched tiers
Dispatch Hardback and Super Deluxe
Donate net profits from dispatched hardback tiers
Release digital bonuses
Re-Open Store and public store distribution
Release digital online
Donate final net profits
I anticipate dispatch being wrapped up by the end of AUGUST thanks to the unforeseen delays.”

End of excerpt.

27 months later, nothing has changed.

After not responding to Kickstarter Trust & Safety's requests for #TFTQ campaign update and fulfillment plans for 90 days, prompting the flag, Frazer claimed to have responded to their request on April 8. Whatever he provided (if anything) still appears unsatisfactory by Kickstarter's standards.

Oh, I lied. We've also got TikToks of his shitty new TFTQ graphic slapped on totally unrelated b-roll from his day-to-day life. Super valuable.
Screenshot from Red Cabin Comics' TikTok feed showing various video thumbnails — several with a yellow "TFTQ" wordmark slapped on non-comics b-roll. Exactly the kind of content his followers need to learn what the hell he did with the 37 thousand pounds he collected in 2020 to produce books he later lied about shipping in 2022 & 2023. (Please, excuse the sarcasm.) RCC/Frazer Brown has not provided any new material info to his Kickstarter backers since lying about shipments in 2023. He continues to refuse proof that the TFTQ books even exist with pictures of stock.

Closest thing we "trash humans" have gotten in weeks is a hearty "F*ck you" for dogging him for books and funds he refuses to account for after defrauding 160 US backers and going dark on all UK pledge info in 2023. (Ref: Screenshot of FB's deleted post from Aug. 9.) #TFTQ
Screenshot of a deleted Instagram post by Frazer Brown, the person behind the unfulfilled 2020 Kickstarter campaign for the Tales from the Quarantine (TFTQ) anthology comic. The image of the post shows an orange sticker reading "Thanks" followed by a text message that reads:

"Thank you everyone for the kind messages. Surgery went well, after 4 years I have gained back full vision in the central part of my left eye. My peripheral has vastly improved but still hard work. Better than when I woke up blind four years ago. It's precarious but positive. Thank you to everyone that has supported me through this horrendous journey and F*ck you to those that didn't support me at all and those trash humans who took it one step further and harrassed me throughout causing two more strokes. Very excited for what lies ahead."

End of text.

I imagine things would have been a whole lot less stressful for Frazer if he hadn't lied about shipping 160 books in 2023 and then ignored his backers outside of endless empty "update coming" promises for more than two years running.

Let's celebrate with a quick summary! #tftq
Screenshot text on white. Text reads:

£37,185 collected to produce the 200-page TFTQ anthology + other rewards in 2020

814 backers: 604 full print anthology, 151 digital-only, 67 floppy-only or floppy-inclusive pledges (~5 variants/full set)

2021 – Full anthology “sent to print” in Nov.
2022 – Anthology books stated delivered to RCC week of Dec. 14 (no pics)
2022 – 160 US softcover pledges declared “shipped” Dec. 22

0 – anthologies arrived in the US

2023 – April – Digital anthology distributed (copyright page not reflective of true press/publication info)
2023 – July – 160 US softcovers declared shipped again after “rescheduling”

0 – anthologies arrived for US backers… again

July 2023 – Last address by Frazer to backers with pledge-related info. Last direct contact with other individual backers. All shipment/pledge inquiries to the RCC customer service email (as directed by Frazer) remain unanswered.

19 – posts made to campaign page since Sep. 2023 promising imminent pledge updates (+ countless more on social)
0 – Updates on pledge fulfilment status
0 – pictures of softcover/hardcover stock shared to date

604 backers (75%) still owed Softcover/Hardcover/Deluxe book

2025 – March – Kickstarter flags campaign for delinquency, preventing Frazer/RCC from launching new campaigns.
2025 – June – Frazer launches RCC Medium as an alternative update channel; zero pledge/backer updates provided in first 5 posts.
2025 – July – 2 years of total silence from Frazer on pledge status/progress & softcover nondelivery.

TL;DR: Since collecting £37k in 2020, Frazer has proven only to have produced low-level physical items owed to 8% of backers.

Frazer now refers to the 32-pagers as the "original run" of #TFTQ. These ~5 variants were low-level pledge tiers ordered by a total 41 of 814 backers (plus BackerKit). EXCERPTS of the pitched 200-page anthology ordered by 604 backers and STILL DOES NOT EXIST IN PRINT. Shameful.
Excerpt from the new Red Cabin Comics Medium post promoting auction availability of leftover, low-level pledge rewards from the yet unfulfilled £37K 2020 Kickstarter campaign — deceptively leaving out the fact that the full original funded anthology has still not been produced or provided to backers.

Text reads:
"TFTQ VAULTED EDITIONS
The auction also features vaulted copies of the original 2022 run of Tales from the Quarantine from Red Cabin Comics, a charity anthology produced during the pandemic. These include rare variant covers by Matt Ferguson, Rachel Scott, Joshua Stone and Chris Weston."

End of excerpt. Several of these artists have withdrawn their work from future use by Red Cabin Comics and speak out regularly over Frazer Brown's misuse of their work and lack of delivery on the bulk of the campaign.

Text excerpt from my "Tall Tales of Frazer BVrown" document, recording his record of lies and misdirection to TFTQ Kickstarter backers. Excerpt reads:

"Personal Exchange in comments on Update #113:

Evan Benner:
What happened to softcovers having been shipped in January per Update #106? The one that said we should have them by mid-Feb or they went astray, yet not one backer received them? What makes this time any more believable?

RED CABIN COMICS:
Hello Evan,

We appreciate rescheduling can be frustrating. If you'd like further information on your specific pledge, please contact us at the new Customer Service email posted in the update. Thank you.

Evan Benner:
Therein lies the issue. According to Update #106 in January, my softcover was already shipped and should have arrived by mid-February. That didn't happen. How can you "reschedule" something that was already explicitly promised to have been done before? I sincerely hope the book is on its way this time.

(Curator's Note: No further reply was received. The last observed direct response by Frazer to a backer following this was on the campaign comment feed dated July 28. I've heard from one backer that they heard from him once by email toward the end of July acknowledging receipt of an address change that was not requested, but these are the last known instances of customer contact.

For reference, Kickstarter deems TWO WEEKS as a reasonable timeframe for creator response time."

Seems someone's audio for a Joker edit really resonated with him today... #TFTQ
Excerpt from a timeline of Frazer Brown's activity tangential to his unfulfilled Tales From the Quarantine charity comic Kickstarter, with commentary.

"June 17 – TikTok (Frazer’s)

Frazer posts a captionless video of walking along a wilderness path with the following audio (originally used in a Batman’s Joker edit).

“They labeled you the villain just because you finally said enough. You tolerated the lies. You swallowed your pain. You played nice in a world that kept throwing knives behind your back. But the moment you spoke up, you became the problem. Funny how that works, huh? They loved the version of you that stayed quiet. That took the blame. That kept bleeding just to keep the peace. But the day you stopped being their puppet, you turned into their nightmare. Now you’re the toxic one. The cold one. The changed one. Yeah, I changed. I got tired of apologizing for things I didn’t do. Tired of breaking my back to build bridges for people who set fire to everyone. You wanna know who I am now? I’m the storm they thought would never hit. The silence they should have feared. The one who finally realized they never loved me. They loved controlling me. Let them talk. Let them point fingers. Let them hate. Because if being the villain means protecting my peace, then paint my face and roll the credits.”

Curator’s Note: Still waiting for Frazer to “speak up” about his shipping lies. Fulfillment of pledges that people gave him money for in 2020 are the crux of his legitimacy as a first-time publisher, yet it’s the one thing he refuses to address. Funny how that works, huh? "

Frazer, in an update to TFTQ campaign backers in late November of 2022:
Excerpt from TFTQ Kickstarter campaign update #89 from November 26, 2022: "After all the books are out to all pledges and any problems such as missing or lost copies are rectified, there will be an independent audit of accounts and net profits will be donated. I’ve told Hero Initiative to expect this during Q1 of 2023 and I'll be making an announcement to the press who will verify the amount."

End of excerpt.

Additional context: It is now June of 2025. No TFTQ anthology books have been provably printed, much less delivered despite Frazer's claims of shipping US pledges in December 2022 and July 2023. UK pledges and all hardcover/deluxe pledges have gone entirely ignored during this period. Still, no charitable benefit has been made.

Baha, this inspired me to refer back to my records of times he latched onto contributors' unrelated Eisner, etc., awards for his self-aggrandizement. Came across this hilarious flip-flop from just under a year ago.
Text excerpt from my Google Doc timeline of Frazer Brown's Tales From the Quarantine Kickstarter announcements. Text documents activities from June of 2024. Text in image reads:

June 17 – TikTok/Instagram

Frazer announces on TikTok that the TFTQ Instagram account has been throttled by Meta for excessive posting. He also announces an Instagram posting hiatus until June 24 to prepare a Kickstarter update.

Curator's Note: How much does one have to post to trigger Meta's spam filters? Frazer certainly seems to have plenty of time on his hands to pump out social content on channels he's blocked backers from viewing while ignoring all requests for pledge updates since August 2023. If his TikToks are any indication, his Instagram content is probably 50% lifted from rando Tumblr posts anyways alongside an unhealthy mix of AI-generated content. Weird strat for a company that's supposed to be a publisher of original comics. (Also, why the heck would TikTok followers care about the Insta being tabled? )

June 17 – TikTok

Frazer deletes post announcing his latest plan to update contributors and backers before June 24.

End of text in image.

Additional context: The TFTQ charity comic anthology was successfully funded in Oct. 2020. TFTQ Kickstarter backers have not been updated about the status of their pledges since August 2023 after Frazer Brown lied a second time about shipping softcover comic pledges to the US. No books arrived. No announcement has even been made regarding UK, Hardcover, or Deluxe level pledges. He has maintained a holding pattern of announcing updates to come and then not updating backers since September 2023. By delaying campaign fulfillment, Frazer has also kept hold of proceeds intended to support charities during COVID lockdowns back in 2021.

We've seen pictures of stamped mailers for the floppy comic shipments, so this image is likely just mirrored. Those stamps probably haven't kissed ink since late 2022/early 2023 when he shipped just the floppy comic pledges. #TFTQ
Photo of cardboard mailers with Red Cabin Comics logo stamped by hand — originally posted in a November 9, 2022 update to the Tales from the Quarantine comic Kickstarter campaign (Update #87). Most floppy comic backers received their orders in early 2023. Campaign creator Frazer Brown also announced the shipment of full softcover versions of the charity anthology in December 2022 and July 2023 — none were received and he continues to avoid backers who demand to know why he lied.

Hope they fixed the erroneously mirrored reflection on Morrow's face (shown in an earlier teaser).

8:30 in the UK already, and I'm starting to get worried Frazer Brown spent too much time dancing to Swedish Chef this weekend and hashtag farming today to post his promised overdue #TFTQ update. "Good reason" indeed. medium.com/@redcabintftq

#TFTQ backers have been due an update since September 2023 after Frazer Brown lied about shipping pledge rewards that still are not proven to have even been produced. Backers sound the alarm every time he trots out another "update coming" notice, because it's a ruse for wallets he hasn't yet burned.
Screenshot of current milestones related to the pledge fulfillment of Tales From The Quarantine Kickstarter comic campaign. Organizer Frazer Brown first announced books had shipped to the US on December 20, 2022. None arrived. He repeated his lie in early July 2023 and blamed "rescheduling." Still, no books were delivered. He told backers to be patient in August of 2023 and promised monthly updates. Since September 2023, no pledge update and no justifiable explanation of why he lied has been given—only posts kicking the update can down the road.

Fuck us for being "ill-informed," I guess. That ain't changing anytime soon. #TFTQ
Screenshot from the Tales From the Quarantine Kickstarter campaign comments, posted Today (May 28). My response to Frazer Brown's unfulfilled promise of pledge updates (overdue since September 2023). Text reads:

On the seventh day, he rested.

Hello again, fellow "ill-informed" backers of TFTQ!

(Frazer's phrase, and a good one at that considering his refusal to INFORM us since 2023.)

Seven days ago, Frazer promised YET AGAIN (via TikTok) that he would provide pledge updates "within the next seven days," this time off platform on RCC's Medium. As you can see for yourself, as the seventh day closes in the UK, that has not come to pass. https://medium.com/@redcabintftq

Despite Frazer's insistence that vocal folks like me are spreading "misinformation," everything I've stated above is verifiable. It's Frazer's words against his own, just as the holding pattern has been for years now.

Calling attention to his failure as a "producer" and irresponsibility as a facilitator of "charity initiatives" is little more than "fueling disruption" because it's apparently OUR responsibility as scorned backers to move this "forward toward resolution."

The resolution is simple Frazer — the money is stuck in your hands. Finish and ship the books, and give Hero Initiative and NHS the remains. 'Fess the fuck up, and fuck off.

Screenshot of a 5/20/2025 post from Frazer Brown's threads account seeking creative consultants on Fado for a future "multimedia / fusion project." This post comes at a time when Frazer continues to ignore calls from his 2020 TFTQ crowdfund backers for answers regarding unfulfilled pledges he collected ₤37k to produce.

Gotta laugh at the irony of Frazer Brown flexing Kickstarter's "Projects We Love" clout of 4+ years ago when his unfulfilled #TFTQ campaign is quite clearly no longer a project Kickstarter loves. (Also, this umpteenth promised update never happened.) Add'l context in Alt text.
Screenshot of a post made to the Red Cabin Comics TikTok page on Feb. 28, 2025. The video displays Kickstarter's "Project We Love" badge graphic with text beneath. The text on video and in the post caption both read quote: "Kickstarter Backers. Our next MAJOR update will be Tuesday 4th March for all backers. This is in keeping with our pledge to update monthly moving forward. This update was due this week but has been shifted for unavoidable reasons. Our last update was earlier this month.
This will include our forward plans for the final shipping of our Kickstarter campaign which is currently nearing completion. As well as news on what's next for Tales from the Quarantine." End quote.

This March 4 update never came to pass, as have none of the past promises of pledge updates over the course of 2-plus years and DOZENS of posts to the campaign page and Frazer Brown's social channels since he first explicitly lied about comic pledge fulfillment in December of 2022. To date, no backer has received the printed anthology despite the campaign being fully funded in October of 2020, nor has any picture been provided of a printed book beyond a single printer proof copy. The £37,000 raised in 2020 with the promise of timely COVID-relevant charity benefit remains unaccounted for to this day.Screenshot of a banner alert at the top of the Tales from the Quarantine comic anthology Kickstarter campaign page that reads quote: "Kickstarter has restricted this creator. Thank you to everyone who sent in reports." End quote.

This alert was added in March of 2025 after years of backer complaints over project non-fulfillment of paid pledges and over 2 years of blatant lies and non-updates.

After ~years~ of lies and misdirection from Frazer Brown, this isn't quite the closure that the hundreds of creative contributors and campaign backers hoped for, but it's something. A step in the right direction to restore my trust in Kickstarter as a platform.
Screenshot of text from the new alert banner across Frazer Brown and Red Cabin Comics' Tales From the Quarantine Kickstarter campaign page reads: "Kickstarter has restricted this creator. Kickstarter’s Trust & Safety team has investigated user reports associated with this project and/or its creator. We have reached out to the creator multiple times requesting project updates and communication with backers. Checking through my highest rateds on LB, seems like Peeping Tom fits this well!
Screenshot of the movie's Wikipedia page excerpt reads: Peeping Tom's depiction of violence and its lurid sexual content made it a controversial film on initial release and the critical backlash heaped on the film was a major factor in finishing Powell's career as a director in the United Kingdom. Karlheinz Böhm later recalled that after the premiere nobody from the audience went to shake either his hand or Powell's. A later assessment of the film published in The Daily Telegraph noted that the film effectively "killed" Powell's career. British reviews tended towards the hyperbolic in negativity, an example being a review published in The Monthly Film Bulletin which likened Powell to the Marquis de Sade.

@johnlees.bsky.social @danwhitehead.net New TFTQ milestone just dropped.
Screenshot of my comment on the Tales from the Quarantine comic anthology Kickstarter campaign page. Comment dated today, Feb. 6, 2025. Text reads: "777 — but the jackpot is empty.

It's been 777 days since Frazer suddenly first announced a blanket shipment of 160 paperback TFTQs to the US with zero proof. No tracking. No customs references. Not even a celebratory "Holy cow, y'all, they're finally here!" with pics. (As a reminder, he began subtly acting as though files were at print over a year prior in November 2021.) No further shipments were announced since.

All we have to mark the occasion is Frazer's newest self-given grace period. A promise of updates by February 16. (Dude sure loves a two-week timeframe based on past promises of updates that never materialized.)

Anyone feel like a winner?"

The universe is already showing signs of being in your favor. This thread literally sits atop a post of The Breeders performing on Conan in my feed. Conan O'Brien is officially loose.
