Just taught my last class at UMass Boston! Next semester I'll be beginning a new faculty position at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Grateful to many of my colleagues at UMass for welcoming me into the field, and excited to be joining such a powerful group of scholars warriors over at CUNY!

All of those factors are of course relevant within the American context, but a few of the chapters have a transnational focus, with the clear context that the book is rooted within the particularities of the U.S.'s histories with incarceration and colonization.

We've got chapters on African-centered assessment, community healing, forensic practice in service to radical movement, therapeutic practice for formerly incarcerated people, reparations, and more. All from a grounded group of scholars, clinicians, and people with lived experience.

End of the year and first post on here. Excited to share this book volume early next year. "Let Them Not be Forgotten": Black Resistance through Forensic Psychology Aimed to bring in people who incorporated the radical school of Black psych with the material goal of liberation.
