I had some plans fall through, and I'm gonna be in NYC with nothing to do. Any suggestions on what to do while I'm here?

Stop and think like your opponent for a second. Do you believe they never considered someone, "sacking up to fight the bastards". It's been accounted for, and it will end in their favor. Tilt at windmills all you like, but all you'd be doing is soothing your ego.

Well for starters a lot of the staff would be on furlough, so we'd be getting far less information on what he was doing. Public opinion isn't something they really care about. The public hasn't done anything meaningful to interfere, and if they did, we now have martial law threatened in response

If there was a shutdown, Musk would 100% be claiming that he'd personally pay for DOGE's expenses during the shutdown. Then he'd use the chaos to get even deeper into core systems

Edits may be a bit trickier since there's no central server in the AT Protocol, It's like trying to edit an email after you send it. Drafts would be fully client side though, and should be a lot easier to add to the app.

We unpacked the origins of baseless rumors that schools are installing litter boxes for students who identify as cats to use instead of toilets.

The more outlandish the lie, the more it shows your loyalty. The only person she needs to convince with this is Trump.

You may be right, I doubt leadership at ICE has lost any sleep over this "administrative error". I think it's important to call out the weaseling and outright lies when you see it though.

The fed want to absolve themselves of this by saying it's out of their jurisdiction, don't believe their lies. They spent a lot of time setting up the process of shipping their undesirables to a super max prison, and now they want you to believe they couldn't make it happen in reverse.

Every senator should be dropped off in Deanwood at midnight, alone, and have to walk back to the Capitol. I guarantee you we'd see senators care a lot more about the 'plight of the common man'

I always like the corporate speak of "Our engineers are working on it" instead the more honest "It's out of our hands for the moment" Like you've got the new guy climbing the power pole with a set of lineman's pliers to go and sort that out

I mean, it used to be if you wanted a shot like that, you'd be putting out 10s of thousands for a helicopter crew. It had to matter that much. Now it's $500 for a decent 4K drone. Movies still need filler shots, we're just bringing "uh" and "like" to the third dimension

The measured value of your action has an inverse-cube relationship to distance, spatially and chronologically. An increase of 10 arbitrary units of happiness over the course of a year is worth the same as 1'000'000 over the course of a century.

I think we need to start bum rushing federal buildings. 500 people going full sprint towards the front gate, then scatter right before slamming through the entrance. It would be a good team-building exercise, and would definitely feel more satisfying than waving signs in a park
