Is this Hugh Dancy's way of saying Will Graham flips?!?😆😆 #Hannibal #TheyFlip #HughDancy

Evalie, HughDancyAdmirer, RDC8 @evalie3689.bsky.social · 21h

Hugh Dancy talking about legal jargon and saying that it's not the way normal people talk. I say "fruit of the poisonous tree" almost every week at work. And yes, that is a real legal concept and it is a real legal phrase. Or, as we would call it, legal term of art. 😄😄😄 #HughDancy #LawAndOrder

I mean, we all know he's a whore for money so it's entirely possible that he went to the con that would pay him more. And he always looks like he's having a genuinely good time there considering he's done it every year for the past several years now.

110

Evalie, HughDancyAdmirer, RDC8 @evalie3689.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I mean, would it be THAT HARD to find another hotel near Heathrow to have his events at?

220

Evalie, HughDancyAdmirer, RDC8 @evalie3689.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

It's pretty par for the course for Sean because he's a small hotel con, not a huge comic-con in a massive exhibition center. His dates are NEVER set in stone and always depends on the talent's schedule for each event he's trying to put on. But I think RDC gets jerked around the most.

010

Evalie, HughDancyAdmirer, RDC8 @evalie3689.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Sean said in one of his pages that there was a new owner of the Ren in 2023 and they've kept raising their rates for the convention space, so he's losing money on the cons. Again, don't know if I believe him, but yeah, Birmingham is a PAIN.

110

Evalie, HughDancyAdmirer, RDC8 @evalie3689.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

People have definitely lost money. Or had to pay more. Or just flat out are not coming. That's why I never buy anything that's non-refundable or non-changeable. At least if I cancel the flight, I may not get the money back but I can use the flight credit for another trip(s) somewhere.

110

Evalie, HughDancyAdmirer, RDC8 @evalie3689.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Starfury has been weird and messed up since I joined the fandom. I don't think there was a single year without problems. Way more recently and across most of his cons now also.

110

Evalie, HughDancyAdmirer, RDC8 @evalie3689.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I looked into taking a train from Heathrow but that would mean an extra day in England because it's a 3 hour train ride. Of course, I'm happy that Hugh is coming too, assuming that this is true.

010

Evalie, HughDancyAdmirer, RDC8 @evalie3689.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I mean, I don't mind the new dates. Traveling during the holiday season sucks all around and I try to avoid it as much as possible. But moving it to Birmingham from Heathrow has made travel really difficult because there are far less flights and this means two layovers for me.

210

Evalie, HughDancyAdmirer, RDC8 @evalie3689.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

So Starfury lied to us and Mads was announced before he was truly confirmed and/or he had to change the date since he couldn't seal the deal with the Rennassaice Heathrow or Mads bailed on RDC8 for Tokyo. Or both. Either way, it's shitty all around. #Hannibal #MadsMikkelsen

110

Evalie, HughDancyAdmirer, RDC8 @evalie3689.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Since Sean has a long history of doing this, I never buy basic economy, but main cabin, which allows me to change my flights without a fee. At least the new date is in the off season, so I only paid $150 more to change to Birmingham. But it's FAR less convenient than Heathrow, that's for sure!

120

Evalie, HughDancyAdmirer, RDC8 @evalie3689.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Heya #Fannibals! Starfury has announced that RDC8 has been postponed again to January 8-10, 2027, because #MadsMikkelsen suddenly became unavailable for the December dates. On the flip side, #HughDancy was also announced! Also, the con will now be at the Birmingham Metropole Hilton Hotel! Yay & Ugh!

Aww, Reid Scott is leaving Law & Order this season! Although apparently his departure will not be reduced to one line of dialogue in the season premiere, but instead, he will be back for a few episodes before being replaced. #HughDancy deadline.com/2026/07/reid...

Hannibal collectors items only seem to increase in value over time. But I believe the Bryan Fuller Funko is a collectors item for Funko fanatics too, which only increases its value. I've seen these listed for over $1500 regularly.
