Given the limitations, the UI left is really good! You shouldn't beat yourself up over not being able to change everything you envisioned it just with creating anything What you made is a great blend between the original and psp version! cut yourself some slack, you're doing great :)

update on that MiSide project, found ou vroid was awful so I had to switch gears, the body and clothe i can work with but I need to remake the hair since I simply cant work with the UV's. The upside is I might be able to bring the hair more in line with the P1 inspiration. Downside is making hair

back with halo infinite blender stuff, idk where I want to take this since I want to make it more like a banished beam rifle while also keeping in mind the brute style weapons right now I think just keeping the top half red is a good choice, idk about the bottom half...

I wish I could help more but I don't know how I'd crack open p1's code on ppsspp :( Though if kotone's animation project, FES, the demon's souls and bloodborne modding community exists then I'm positive there is a way to make it happen

Personally im a fan of this layout and it might suit the one you pictured a little better Also idk if its too complicated but is it possible to add the animated effects to this ui? like selecting attack making the sword Icon pop up like in the original?

It might look better if you omit the renders in favor of what EP psx did ie just have the health bars but you shouldn't feel antsy about using your own art, they're pretty 1:1 with the original style and blend in perfectly I suppose you could just have it as a separate option when the mod goes live

some things were lost in translation thanks to the anime style but they can always be added back if I bash my head against the wall hard enough, I'm also using the basic vroid as the base so he might improve as time goes on Idk about the "wheres my wife" jacket optional unlock
