I think what resonates with me about the Lucky Star OST is that it’s so simple. It’s kind of like Steely Dan’s Gaucho in the way that it strips everything that isn’t necessary for what it’s trying to go for. It takes a lot of confidence to simply Do The Thing without any bells or whistles

There’s something so magical about the late 90’s-early 2000’s. I’m sitting here testing a Dreamcast I sold on eBay before I ship it out, and the disc I always use to test that it reads discs is the Lucky Star OST. Listening to that music come out of my CRT with that GUI… I think it’s very special
