the falsetto filled bridge (very high) is so good if he's using this song as a lesson, he is emulating the original singer's falsettos really well (they have very stable falsettos) all in all i love DK and his voice i can do more reviews but this is all for now

LOST STARS this Song!! THIS SONG PROMPTED ME TO WRITE THIS THREAD This doesn't sound like our usual DK (my bro said this too, he listens to SVT very often). I feel like he is using a more nasal tone. I am so so very amazed of how good and the range of his vocals!!

HAPPY Don't let the cute video fool you, it's kind of a bittersweet song. His voice shines so well in this song, how is this song not written for him?? it's right up his alley and his vocal range. listening to it just feels so comforting yet it gives a 마음 풀어 느낌, you know?

some singers use their voice to be piercing, and gives you chills, but Kyeom's airy falsettos somehow makes me feel more melancholic. THE RANGE THIS MAN HOLDS

결국 아무것도 알 수 없었지만/Sequel colorcodedlyrics.com/2021/12/12/l... listen to the lyrics, i love kyeomie so much his voice at 3:21, the last refrain: Perfection. the way he conveys the emotions of the song with the tone of his voice always leaves me speechless.

it's giving similar vibes. arthurkyeom can just be a disn*y princess now very bright, hopeful song, he sings very openly. it just suits the song so much i also love when he did musicals he learned to sing the way musical actors do, although i feel like he already does that a little.

언제일까/When Will We Learn does this count as a cover? he played Arthur in Xcalibur I LOVE ARTHURKYEOM SO MUCH HE IS A WONDERFUL MUSICAL ACTOR AND I LOVE HIS CHEST VOICE I CAN PICTURE ARTHURKYEOM WHEN I HEAR THIS Before Rapunzel's When Will My Life Begin, there's Dokyeom's 언제일까

i feel like DK's usual style suits pop songs, and seventeen songs this song isn't in the 17studio playlist he sings so beautifully, can you hear his falsetto and how he incorporates air to make it sound light but also the diction is also excellent!! (i love how clear he sounds in every song)

Amusement Park i'm sorry on not being chronological imo this is a cover he sang very closely similar to the way the original sang it. Baekhyun's fans said he did a great job. i feel this tone is more nasal than his usual style, and it suits the RnB vibe of this song.

Betelgeuse i feel like this one is also covered because of its lyrical sentiment. the relationship between the stars and those who loved them. but also i think he covered this to sing more Japanese songs. his diction is so good. he's always been so good at conveying emotions with flawless technique.

행운을 빌어 줘 (A Journey) this has a personal place in my heart, it's the first DK cover i listened to. I think it's a beautiful mix of lyrical and vocal performance. the lyrics are very Dokyeom, uplifting and hopeful the vocal performance is so lovely, there are very incredibly exhilarating high notes

You're My Christmas this one is an original song, i think? (sorry i am baby carat) lovely song, sung very sweetly honestly i love his falsettos here.

도겸 - You're My Christmas

the way he sings a bit more airy than he usually does in seventeen, it conveyed a sense of desperation, a sense of surrender or not knowing, a melancholy words alone cannot express. it's something that tugs on your heartstrings.

100

the second cover on the list:The Road i think this is one of the songs he covers because of the lyrics. It's heart wrenching (read the translations here: www.musixmatch.com/lyrics/Paul-...) his beautiful voice conveys such deep emotions. even when you don't know the lyrics, his voice makes you feel

this song starts with parts that shows off lower registers of the voice, and DK's runs are so good here already you can hear how smooth the switches to and from falsetto as well. i just saw DK singing with Yang Dail (The original singer) here, they are so good

first DK cover in the 17studio i am a relatively new carat so the Dokyeom i know and am familiar with most is Dokyeom from 2022 onwards. i am not familiar with the older covers and his techniques back then I listened to the original song, and it's such a good song to showcase Dokyeom's vocal range

[COVER] 도겸-사랑했던걸까 (원곡:양다일)

i feel like he's very deliberate in choosing what songs he covers (well, posts covers of, since he can sing whatever song whenever). It's either to show what he can do, or to tell us carats some message (love you bby)

100

some vocalists know what they're good at and they hone their skills and emphasizing that. DK is incredibly good at what he does, with the way he sings in seventeen, it's already insanely good But Kyeomie explores techniques and different tones of his voice, and we can see it in his covers

110

RANT ABOUT HOW WONDERFUL A VOCALIST DK IS IN HIS COVERS i think that DK uses his covers to explore the range and tones of his vocal abilities. He's constantly blowing me away with his vocal skills and this latest cover is proof why he's my favorite vocalist.
