Extremely poor from Arsenal, Out fought tactically out thought. Couldn't match Brighton's aggression or intensity, we wanted to play at our pace and couldn't adapt to the high octane game. Shouldn't have kept trying to play out from the back, shoulda gone long earlier Hope we learn from it.

Ok, it's clear the refs haven't copped that Konza is no longer a Villa player. Past couple of games, he has gotten away with a bit of pulling, holding and blaguardery. They'll soon realize that he plays for the Arsenal and the cards will start coming. He looks like money well spent to be fair.

They used to call Arsenal the bank of England, because we were prudent with our spending and always had cash reserves. Any success we have had is been from smart spending, youth development and excellent coaching. We have run at a loss for a few seasons, I think that will change this season.

Lots of folks knocking Berta, and it seems that if Arsenal had moved faster we would have signed Rogers. But in context, City overspent by a ridiculous amount on Anderson to inflate the market.
