Cloud Type RGB – 2 October 2025, 10:00 UTC – Snow cover is clearly visible over the Alps 🗻. The chosen color scheme allows for easy differentiation between ❄️ and ☁️. Light green - Snow ❄️ Cyan - Low water clouds ☁️ Red - Cirrus clouds ☁️ Dark blue - Cloud free land 🌍
FCI Cloud Type RGB - 2 October 2025, the satellite image is from the Alps region and its surroundings.

Airmass RGB – 25 August 2025, 12:00 UTC – A strong cyclone, ex-Hurricane Erin, is currently active over the Atlantic. This RGB helps to analyse dynamic processes in the atmosphere. Color interpretations: Red = PV anomalies, ongoing cyclogenesis, Green = warm tropical air & Blue = cold polar air.

FCI Cloud Phase RGB– 21 August 2025, 08:10 UTC When monitoring convection, it’s sometimes helpful to overlay products. Here, LI's flash count is overlaid on Cloud Phase RGB. Higher flash frequencies might give forecaster a clue to a strengthening storm before satellite or radar imagery.
