Finally finished Chapter 5. I swear to god, battle sequences are fun to write but they'll be the death of me! Just the epilogue left now and Volume 1 will be done. Let's see if I can make it in the upcoming contest. Fingers crossed.

When we can, we will work on aspects in the game that require no assets but since we are getting into the phase where the core systems are fleshed out, we have primarily resorted to waiting for assets as we speak.

Since I am unemployed, I cannot aid them much with money but the money I *can* spare, I try to help them out with by paying for groceries and similar. That unfortunately also means that I have little to no money available for to finance the game.

Without getting too much into detail, I live near my aging grandparents and take care of them when I can. However, my grandmother has fallen for a scammer online, who in turn took a non-negiligible amount of money.

I remember very distinctly some events in FFXIV. Our guild leader got us a house. We said don't buy a cringe facade, get us something cool. He bought the carbuncle facade, said we can decorate the interior. And I think I did what was expected of me :3c

Just to give a wee bit of updates on Cat Shelter: We're not dead, the game's still in development! But we're reaching a point quite fast where we can't work with placeholders anymore. Our graphics team is a little slower right now but we're in a good place :)

Been working for a few days on actually mapping the hub area for Cat Shelter. Next up comes setting up the actual houses, town features etc. All still work in progress with loads of placeholders but the idea is there!
