dear internet, chatgpt's "its not x, it's y" might have brainrotted you a bit (or it might have ruined it for me). i cannot blame you. however, please be reminded "its not x, but y" exists as another option. thank you.

i would like to understand the rationale of pro-AI users who think it really doesn't matter if a video is AI or not "as long as it's funny." just imagining being in that state of mind is scary af why are people ok with this

can we have a public board site where all the internet arguments are compiled like a branching Q&A and updated regularly so people can stop throwing around the same 50 arguments that have already been disproven and just send em the link to it. seeing misinformed people everyday is exhausting

If you are an artist struggling with a nagging discomfort or pain when you work. Stop. Go and get that shit checked out and start doing recommended, corrective exercises. It will not get better if you just push through. It will get worse and harder to correct. Please take care of yourself.

promoting yourself as an artist is so frustrating because you’ll feel like you’re shoving your stuff down everyone’s throats and then there’s someone like “wait u have a comic???”

interestingly enough, i took this test 3 years ago and my result was Repentance previously. I'd say this result is somewhat true. I do want to give justice to every subject I make art of so I put a lotta thought into my work. i think this just means im less sad now..? lol

sometimes "correct" actually feels more wrong or lackluster vs breaking the rules lol it's still a hump i sometimes forget to jump over and be mindful of tbh but it's a good mindset for composition. i'd say it also applies to animation and music. make the composition work better than "correct"

bros, check out Kate's originals. top tier songwriting imo. wishing all her demos get produced just as well eventually cuz the world needs to hear em. i've done a few arrangements of her songs over the years with her of my own volition cuz they're just that good
