Please keep in mind that the focus is to have in the public sector free operating systems to replace proprietary systems of third countries as soon as possible. The perfect is the enemy of the good. Of course, EU OS is always an offer and not mandatory.

That's what we got so far: gitlab.com/eu-os/worksp... Admins can pin a base image and then define in YAML extra packages or files. It is not reproducable, but the image is created only once and then copied. / RR

Robert, EU OS project lead, has met yesterday Dirk Schrödter, Minister for Digitalization and Head of the State Chancellery Schleswig-Holstein (SH), in Brussels. SH will organise a public tender for a #Linux OS. To be seen to which extend #EU_OS can be reflected in the tender specification! 🤔
