Finally finished the set of drawers I'm using to store essential items. Drawer liners sealed, all the household goods (tissues, wet wipes, bin liners, extension cords, etc) that were scattered around the house consolidated inside. Really happy with this

My local mall has these two shops right next to each other. I'm going to become the Joker

A big Halloween store display. It has a giant inflatable purple hand with an eye on it, a black horse, a spoopy clown, all kinds of stuff. This is Australia by the way. Once when I was younger a single child came trick or treating on Halloween and my mum told him to fuck off.

A Christmas pop-up store with a giant inflatable Santa that can only fit here because the upper floor is a mezzanine. It is a hundred percent September.

Preparing to demo Wetrunner at PAX and trying to decide which sample characters to include. All fourteen is probably too many

Fate character sheet for Bazza, a scientist who wears a floral-print lab coat and board shorts and carries a little robot. He has a scifi sheet with slightly janky Coolvetica headers and a lot of unnecessary background text around his portrait.

Xue Lao again. Her face is normal now, but both her eyes are glowing electronic pink and she has RCA cables plugged into her neck. Her arms are pink cyberware. She's wearing the beanie, sweatpants, and a tied shirt, so you can see that her lower torso is entirely cybernetic. It's blue and translucent, like an old console. Xue is doing a goofy pose, making peace signs with her hands and smiling with her tongue playfully sticking out of her mouth, so presumably she is happy with the new body situation.

Honestly this section rules. Link gets matched with Chun-Li and the author obviously wants you to vote for her to solo that fraud. I can respect that.

Part of Link's section, which draws attention to the fact that Link's weapons can break and then goes "but he can craft delicious meals and eat them mid-brawl!". The fuck he can. Get that shit out of here.

Another bit that lists off Link's cool Sheikah Slate powers and then ends with "but their time limit is their weakness!" Someone is doing Link dirty.

A section talking up Chun-Li's legs and how Link may only be able to withstand a couple kicks. You know who can withstand more kicks? Every Street Fighter Character

"A true warrior..." Okay this section is talking about how she can do ranged attacks on Link, but god damn. She gets to be a true warrior and the hero of Hyrule is good at making soup. This is the writeup I would give Link if my reference was the Starbomb albums.

I heard that people used to do weird ad campaigns on Royal Road where they'd post art of a cute girl from their story with the text "meet me in chapter X" or similar. Sad stuff, obviously, but I think I can improve on the concept
