What I would advise: Never listen to purists, especially if their claims are just not true. Lincoln's not a bland or regressing, he's awesome, kind-hearted, he wants to right the wrongs, he's a supernatural and cosmic adventurer, he matures. I've said it before and I'll happily always say it again, Ash is and will always be a favorite, she's best girl, I was hurt by her season 3 actions, but I also know it wasn't her fault. She doesn't deserve hate, she deserves hugs. She's my second "they could never make me hate you" character.

Update: Due to another interest fading, some art of specific shows that either I'm just no longer interested in or artwork with characters from said media has been removed to align with my current value of making artwork of media that still sticks with me and will be my favorites forever

I love the mythology because it goes full-on adventure time, raising the stakes and tone of the story, but also for one big reason that I'm surprised no one else pieced together, it's that it reveals lore that changes/defines everything thought about this universe

Also I really love her character design (the dark outfits with the pink hair) and her softer side moments and her moments with arguably her bestest father Gary are wholesome, and also wants me to cry tears of wholesomeness

I'm gonna be honest, out of all of Ashly Burch's voice-role characters, personally and objectively, Ash Graven is a #1 favorite of mine, because like Lincoln, I also really relate to her (not completely, but mostly) and also she doesn't deserve hate, she deserves hugs

Those traits make Lincoln not merely special like the rest of his family, but it makes him one of the most genuinely best heroic characters in media. It's also why he's a character that I both really relate to and look up to. He just means a lot to me, and I wouldn't change any good aspect of him.

That combined with the most important of all, his kind-hearted core. He may make mistakes and be mentally clouded by self-gain (e.g. Loch Loud), but when things get hectic and people are in danger, he always wants to right the wrongs and save them.

Lincoln's sisters may have their own special talent, but Lincoln here, he's unique. He has two talents that he inherited from his ancestor: The Duke being a dragon-rider played a role in allowing having Lincoln deal with mythologically high-stakes adventures and situations.
