Now in full technicolor! I really do need to study rendering techniques though, I struggled through this one.

After watching a lot of Zenless Zone Zero animations, I'm really itching to draw more dynamic poses.

Now that her daughter was actually revealed, this wasn't that far off!

Can't wait to see the emotional ordeal Eleanor will have to go through in the new Xenoblade game. 🥲

I picked up a sketchbook for the first time in years. I usually use photocopy paper on a clipboard to draw. It's been a nice change. Using a sketch book forces me to sit with drawings more, reworking things that bother me instead of just tossing the page out. I tend to go back and ink more too.

Maybe Moho will become more popular, or at least gain some market share.

You're right, Chris, Tales of the TMNT was done with Harmony, I saw Katie and Fede toiling away in the studio 😅

I know most people hate the lineart stage, but I think it's actually the most fun part. It's kind of therapeutic just going over your sketch with clean lines and then magically getting a crisp drawing at the end.

Learning to animate in Blender! This is the first time I animated in 3D since college like two decades ago, and honestly turned out better than what I could do back then. Although the cape could use another pass.

Thanks! But I think I went a little overboard with the background regardless, don't think I can keep up that level for an entire comic. 😅

A test scene for my comic project. Took too long, I think I need to streamline the process 😅

It's pretty exciting to have a story brewing in your head for years, and then seeing a scene from it actually brought to life in drawn form 🤯

What else would the Federation use when Angels attack? They need their squadron of Federation Evas to fend them off! And every Eva pilot needs a plugsuit! 😅

So true, clean up is a skill all of it's own.

000

Etherwing @etherwing.bsky.social · 24/01/2025

My problem is I assume I'll mess things up, so I never have the confidence that it'll end up looking good even after I start rendering. 😅

Etherwing @etherwing.bsky.social · 24/01/2025

Why is it that the sketch version always looks better than the clean version?

Sorry, by progress locked, I mean missable.

Etherwing @etherwing.bsky.social · 20/12/2024

It's been a while so my memory isn't the best, but I don't think so. All the important side quests are not progress locked, in any case.

100

Etherwing @etherwing.bsky.social · 20/12/2024

There's a few good endings but no true canonical one. But to get one of the good endings requires finishing what's technically a side quest at the end game that's a BIG spoiler, so I won't give details. Most other endings depend on when you fight the final boss, you have access relatively early on.

Well, they do have holodecks, and also they mention in DS9 and in previous episodes of LD that the holodecks are often used for more... uhh... pleasing activities. lol

Happy #LowerDecks Day! Had the pleasure to help out with season 5. Hope everyone loves it as much as the crew loved working on it! Here's a fanart of #Tendi, my favorite lower deck crew, trying out a Federation issue plugsuit.

I'd get one that supports apple pencil gen 2 or apple pencil pro, since those have hover (showing cursor while hovering above screen). Then just the one that you're willing to pay for. Can't go wrong with any pros or airs with M chip in it.
