I spent some time improving the look of the character info screen. Feels much better now! #gamedev #indiedev #mmo #indiegame

I'm hoping that Etherwind's Job Boards feature (procedural tasks) will give players a lot more to do vs the typical "grind the same mob for hours" in older MMOs. Plus party size influencing the amount of rewards you get should incentivize grouping up more than doing everything solo. #gamedev #mmo

Put in some time to polish the Catacombs dungeon a little more by adding a background and some more lights. Looks very atmospheric now! #indiedev #gamedev #mmo #indiegame

Slimes are cute. We love cute things. We love slimes. Good thing Etherwind will have slimes, and many other cute mobs! #indiegame #solodev #mmo

Hi all! I'm Val, the solo developer of the small-scale indie action MMO called Etherwind. The project is still in the alpha stage, but I am eyeing up potential for early access in 2027-2028 and am excited to share progress! Art by @sugarpop-art.bsky.social
