It's been a lot of changes, and I'm still trying to find that balance. Let's hope Year 7 (coming in January! 😱 ) is smoother, better, and kinder to us all!

Instead, I'm starting the November sales early (starting today!) as both an apology and a thank you to everyone who's been so dang patient with me with how crazy this year has been.

Alright so. October's release is just not happening. I'm halfway through the month, worked the busiest day of the year (a rev war historic site that outsold July 4th, our traditionally busiest!), and have had some awful chronic pain days. Something had to give, and sadly this was it.

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Apologies: October's release is delayed. 😱😭 During the Nor'Easter that hit, my body went into a crash state and I haven't had the time or energy to work on getting the release ready. I'm hoping that I can work on it this weekend! It should be up within the week. Sorry again!

This cosmic horror has been slinging soaps all day and y'all have blown my expectations out of the water! <3

It's ABSOLUTELY time for adventures: I'm going to be at The Foundry in Cambridge MA today, for GaymerFest! If you were lucky enough to already get tickets, come swing by the table and say hi!

A week later (dang it) and I forgot to mention: our new drop is here! As we sneak into the spooky season, and the right time for some horror...let's visit the seaside. Surely nothing lurks in the depths, nor is ready to crack open our minds... etherealhive.com/collections/...

In other news, that's less "oops" flavored, and since I'm half asleep post-LARP, now's a great time to know: I'm moving a ton of soaps over into Clearance, as well as some other goods. It's time to start making space so I can get prepared for more things! etherealhive.com/collections/...

Clearance

We have to make room from time to time for new designs. So this is your last chance to get these goodies before they're gone!

It's been a hot moment...but I've been working on restocks, plans for this fall, and I'm making an appearance here in September! Come say hi!

000

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 18/04/2026

I've been putting off restocking so much (mostly because setting up 2 giftshops from scratch is tiring!) but I'm finally working on getting the bath potions restocked.

010

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 08/04/2026

Available now, over at etherealhive.com! Cryptid Candles! They're not just in soap form any more! As a reminder, our next product release will be August, due to how insanely busy my life is about to become. During this time, I'll still be looking for cons, handling shipping, restocks, and more!

000

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 02/04/2026

There's a delay on getting April's release out (supply delays) but in the meanwhile there IS a new product in the shop...for a certain other persona. 😉

000

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

Important Announcement! The screenshot has all the details, but the long & short of it is... I'm going to be taking off a few months of releasing new products. 😓 After April's release, there won't be another until August, because I will be INSANELY busy & I just won't have the energy to do things.

010

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 09/03/2026

I forgot to post this on the first but! New cyptids are available in the shop!

000

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 22/02/2026

Incoming storm? Perfect time to just work on soap, right? ...Wait. The soap pit is in the basement. Less...less great. Heck. Welp, here's to hoping we don't lose power during this.

February's Release is here, and it's... MORE PERFUME OPTIONS! That's right, it's no longer just a choice between kind of bottle, but now we're offering different sizes, including a sampler vial so you can figure out if you like how it smells on you! etherealhive.com/products/per...

The important step before designing new things: organizing fragrances stock.

030

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 22/01/2026

Shh, this isn't a midnight post...but also! Hey everyone! I know it's been quiet, I've missed posting about the shop's 6 year anniversary because LARP emotions (I won awards and got recognized for stuff!) (holy shit 6 years????) February's release is RIGHT around the corner!

000

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 14/01/2026

Oof, my brain is SLOGGING this morning. I've been staring at my design plans for this year and my thoughts are just non-existent. It's not even sitting there making decisions about scents and colors, it's the items proper. 😅

000

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 04/01/2026

WHEN do you want releases to happen? The first day of the month? A specific day of the week? As they come out? Does the newsletter help at all? Are you even signed up for it? Does social media or the Discord help more?

000

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 04/01/2026

I have several days of obligations in a row coming up, and my own shop anniversary (6 years!) is over a LARP event. It's...unlikely I'll have more than a non-product teaser out by then. February is going to still be our first release of the year, but I do have an important (series of) question(s).

100

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 04/01/2026

It's January, and........I'll be real, I'm behind. 😅 I'm still working on restocks, and haven't had a chance to plan this year's releases. Part of it was an unexpected change half way through last year, so I'm still catching up. I spent most of December some level of sick. 🧵

100

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 13/12/2025

I have won over the sickness! So I'll be appearing (masked and likely bathing in hand sanitizer every so often) at Pandemonium Books & Games for the Geek Faire tomorrow! The car is packed, and I'll have the CHEST OF MYSTERY again, so if you can't make a choice on what soap on the table to get... 😉

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 10/12/2025

A loving reminder, as I wait for my supply delivery today: Your purchases make a world of difference to a small business, especially in these months were getting sick is easy and holidays mean gifts. Your order can make a whole day better, no matter how small. ♥️🧼

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 05/12/2025

Want to make sure you've got some EHC goodies for stocking stuffers and gifts? Order by Dec. 17th to make sure they arrive in time. Remember, order early and often from Small Businesses!

Oh. Gosh. Hi to all my new followers! Sorry I haven't been super active over here! IYCMI, I've got a 20% off the whole shop sale right now, 30% if you're a discord member, and I'm actively restocking low or sold out items, like a lot of candles. (Like. A LOT. of candles.)

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 06/10/2025

Everything is okay, thankfully! (Minor leak in the tank, better to replace it now. Heel will heal, I just need significant time to rest off my feet. (I've likely given myself bursitis due to walking for an extended period of time in accidentally-too-small shoes.) Knee aggravated from heel, etc.)

010

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 06/10/2025

Apologies to anyone waiting on orders! I promise, they'll be out soon! The long & short of it: not only is a minor injury in my foot flaring, we have to prepare the house to replace our 60 year old oil tank...so currently my workspace is Very Blocked and I can't easily do...most things, truthfully.

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 01/10/2025

Two new items are up in the shop as part of today's release, as well as a new version of SHOWTIME!

020

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 18/09/2025

To recuperate the funds from that would drive the price for the shampoo up to $10 a bottle and I wouldn't make any profit off of it. Obviously, less than ideal for everyone involved. This is the first real bad hit we've taken, and makes me worried for the future of my business.

000

Ethereal Hive Crafts @etherealhive.bsky.social · 18/09/2025

Welp. For the foreseeable future, shampoo will not be available in the shop. I have a key ingredient I get for it that I can only get from a Canadian supplier. I bought $76 (with shipping) worth of this product...and got charged $171 in tariffs. On top of the money I already spent. 😬
