After tracking AI headlines for 98 weeks straight, I took two months off! It’s intimidating to have to catch up, but I like a challenge. I’m resuming where I left, and I track the weekly links in a way that lets me keep the weekly grouping. Let’s get back to it! ethanbholland.com/2025/08/23/a...

Claude cracks me up. I asked for a quick spelling and grammar check. Since Claude often shares a rewrite instead of reviewing first, I told Claude to list what it found... Claude was committed to the assignment! Spoiler alert: I asked again, and Claude obliged.

Watching OpenAI's agent browse the web for me in an emulated browser (in the chat window), bypassing all AI blockers (since it's "me") is especially fun to watch... The era of agentic AI browsers is going to change quite a bit in the next two years.

32,000 Links in 90 Weeks In the past 90 weeks, I've organized 32,000 links by hand into 46 categories. 2,630 blog posts and 4,044 images. I organize it all by hand, because there is no shortcut for reading and processing. In fact, I only have a blog to force me to learn.

I have friends across finance, from tax and accounting to wealth management to quantitative trading. At the high end, professionals write code that pushes beyond what AI can comfortably handle, though Claude Opus is starting to make inroads.

Will the general public shift perception of "AI" from "stochastic writing art thief slop cannon" to "We can ask our computers to do things?" In May, I organized 2,783 AI headlines into 43 categories. Agents is top. Google beat OpenAI thanks to Veo and DeepMind. Anthropic gained due to MCP adoption.

I clicked on a prominent news link today (to BlueSky!) only to find that the user had blocked me. I have never interacted with anyone on Bluesky, let alone this person. I don't comment. I don't like stuff. My only theory is BlueSky kept pushing them to connect with me and they got sick of it?

I drove my daughter three hours so she could photograph an EDM festival. My plan was to work for six hours in the back of the MGM casino. It is absolutely fitting that while I’m working on my artificial intelligence newsletter, with no people in any direction, I’m being harassed by a robot vacuum.
