Today is Paper Mario Color Splash's 10th anniversary! Still very underrated tbh, most of the people who dislike it haven't even played it. Here's some art I made for it a while back! 🎨 #mario #nintendo #art

Wow thank you!! Somehow, despite all that, it wound up taking me just as long to draw Shulk as the rest of the piece combined!

Got 100% on Metroid Prime 4, both normal and hard mode, and also got all the green energy crystals on both files! 7/10 overall, it's pretty good but it does have a lot of problems.

I want to get more into video editing, but I don't think I'm good enough to do that for other people yet, but I also don't really want to do my own voiceovers... gotta figure out what to do next! I'm making some art showcase shorts in the meantime as practice

I'm still planning on selling some prints of the Super Smash Bros. mural I made, but they are taking absolutely forever to approve the design. If it takes much longer I'm gonna look into a different manufacturer. I always wondered how artists made prints so easily and I still don't know!

Huge thank you to everyone who's commissioned me these past few days! It's been great practice and also fun to draw and I can't wait to do some more soon!

I think it kinda makes some sense vibes-wise given that's the only Kirby game not on Popstar, but for their first shot at 3D Forgotten Land was excellent imo. Very excited for a 3D Popstar game

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is an easy 10 for me, but one of my minor gripes was the Copy Abilities are too simple and there weren't enough. Kirby and the World Beyond looks like it fixes all that and more! I can't wait!

By the way, commissions should be reopening on Thursday! Nintendo is stealing all my money with all their Zelda stuff and I'm sure they'll reveal some cool stuff tomorrow, so I gotta lock in and draw a whole bunch!

Ethan (Comms open!) @ethanexion.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

The remake looks pretty good! The graphics remind me of Star Fox, for that remake I wasn't sold at first but after 50 hours playing I think they actually work really well in motion. OOT looks to be in the same category with its character designs, plus environments look great!

Ethan (Comms open!) @ethanexion.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

WW HD would be pretty interesting to see given the original dropped on NSO on Switch 2 last year. Though on Switch 1 I have no doubt it could sell a million copies so that's definitely possible

010

Ethan (Comms open!) @ethanexion.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

ZSS because she hasn't been in recent Metroid games (Power Suit only pretty much) and they might want Sylux/Raven Beak to take her slot instead. Toon Link bc he's not in any modern Zeldas either, and Young Link is more likely to stay with OOT remake. Wolf was cut from 4 so there's some precedent

Made my own Smash Bros. roster prediction tier list! Tried to be as realistic as possible, I can explain any of the placements too

There are literally like 100 characters here and I just wanted to post this real quick and there's no way I can type out all the names. Sorry lol but this list is peak I fear

On Friday I'm releasing my biggest art project ever!! I planned to launch prints and stickers alongside it, but unfortunately it looks like they won't be ready in time. But it's a huge mural with over 20 characters!! This is probably my most important art yet, so I really appreciate the support!

Believe it or not I finished this pretty close to day 1! I just had art scheduled already and I schedule out new stuff so if I take a break no one notices lol. But it's super tough to draw this kinda thing so fast I agree!
