I have a lot of Platemail Games sounds, and I also use Syrinscape. At my table, I have 2 sets of speakers, one overhead and the other off to one side. In virtual games, I use Syrinscape player and other 'fixed' sounds. My players have learned to listen closely while they move around...

A big reason why I dumped D&D was the ant-like class system. Clerics can't fight, wizards can't sneak, fighters can't negotiate... Went to SWADE where you can play your character your way.

I'm no expert, but if you listen to him speak you know that he's definitely demented. He just spews nonsense with made up "facts" and waits for applause. Yesterday in front of the military he not only demanded applause, but threatened that any who left would lose their career.

Cold and flu season has returned to the west coast. After a sustained heat wave for over 2 months we're now in our first full week of rain. The grey will eventually wear me down, but we need the water.

Great setting and lore. I just hate the rules for it, be it the old stuff or the newer rules, it just seems to drag whenever combat starts.

#Roleplaying Sometimes as a GM I like to run a campaign that I did a long time ago. Curse of Strahd came out in the 80s as a kind of dungeon crawl, then it was fleshed out and now has loads of info for it. I want to do it using PFSW. Should be nasty fun. #savageworlds

I played with GURPs back when it first came out, and years later in a Star Trek campaign. Too many rules, too many silly things like shooting skills based on the weapon type (shotgun, pistol, rifle, energy weapon(s) etc.). Dumped it, got SW from a gamer, and never looked back.

I use Savage Worlds for all kinds of settings. Right now I'm running two Pathfinder for SW games, one on Foundry and one at my table. I also run a sci-fi game based on the Traveller setting using the Savage Worlds Sci-Fi Companion, with some sections not being used. They have pulp rules as well
