My half of an art trade with @princemaxxy.bsky.social :D here's his critter Safire, I had to learn how to draw crystals and fire for this so it was a bit tricky but super fun and so worth it!! thanks so much for letting me draw your fella and for your stunning piece of my boy <3

KELPIES!!! they're shape-shifting water horses from scottish folklore that get people to ride and then swim to the bottom of a river to drown them. they can take the form of people as well, though some say they retain their hooves which has led them to be associated with the devil in christianity :)

got bored and did this and... huh. I'm genuinely surprised. I never thought of myself as a generally positive or loving person but I guess the more I think about it, the more this applies in a weird backwards way I have love for the unloved, the strange and the unexplained and the misunderstood
