I stopped listening to the BS

Eileen Allison @etallison.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

My daughter lived in Bologna, then Berlin. Not sure all organic but they don't let so much crap in their food. Nutella in Europe does not have all the artificial junk as U.S.

They get a whole month? My grandmother thought my husband's Italian family wouldn't accept me being a non-italian. Couldn't have been further from the truth.

An awful, awful illness as witnessed by a sister.

Someone in the U.S. reduced portion sizes? We're going to be as thin as the French before you know it.

I LOVE this handle. It always makes me smile.

Eileen Allison @etallison.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

My husband was the best with dogs. He always said it was how pitbulls were raised that gave them the bad name.

I like to listen to French news/interviews to try to keep up with the language. Alain Bauer, author, La Vérité sur le système Epstein, commented on how @jkbjournalist.bsky.social broke open the case. She is world renowned. Well done Julie K Brown!

Public schools still don't address it and provide what they, dyslexics, need.

My mother used to say kids and animals liked her. 😄

Or putting it in someone's emptied compost bin!

Eileen Allison @etallison.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

I don't have a very big sample set, but I'm thinking you're correct.

Just watched this. Thank you for making me laugh.

My kids have me trained not to get straws. Iris me when I get a straw with a water.

Why is trump getting info from a retired admiral of the USS Lincoln and not to a current one?

000

Eileen Allison @etallison.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

I think she drank too much coolaide to deduce that. Her kids are babies and her job involves travel and long hours. She can afford to stay home and figure out what she wants to do next.

I have an inhaler. How the heck do you get a cat to use it?

110

Eileen Allison @etallison.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

Why does ANYONE even listen to what Trump has to say anymore?

040

Eileen Allison @etallison.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

They're going to confirm him. This is just a little delay to make them look serious.

We got a dog from MSPCA on Martha's Vineyard. The owner/woman had said he was uncontrollable. My husband said he was the wimpiest dog he ever had. He treated him accordingly (gently). But my husband was one with the animals.

Saw this Monday when touringTall ships on Citylinecruises. I was thinking how ridiculous it was that I haven't replaced my dryer in 4 years as my contribution to the environment.

My old roommate from college+husband stayed there about 8 years ago. Marriott leased it for x years. It was cool.

Has how men have behaved toward women affected any politian's success? Trump said he assaults women and no one cared.

I have decent insurance (Dell). Just paid $950 for a root canal. My Brazilian colleague says his insurance covers it all.

I never got paper when I lived in Paris in 80's. Just the baguette, or demi baguette.

Temp set to 78 degrees is not a hardship.

Eileen Allison @etallison.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

I thought Boston property taxes were pretty low. I live in Ashland and they are sky high, but good for Mayor Wu.

Eileen Allison @etallison.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

I've noticed many more cars darting in and out of lanes in traffic.

How does Vance work a full time job as VP, write a book and parent 3 kids? What's not getting done?

000

Eileen Allison @etallison.bsky.social · 14/06/2026

My daughter made a comment about this being the hill we die on. Still, every little bit trump removal helps.

000

Eileen Allison @etallison.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

Not typical person I'd go to for background checks.

Eileen Allison @etallison.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

You can do so much with graphs to influence what you want to tell without actually manipulating the data.
