I've been trying to battle my lethargy and took a brief walk in the nature reserve, but even after a short walk my heart was still working quite hard. I did notice there were some new kangaroo paws the workers here planted, and this pretty pink flower I don't know the name of.

the whole 'werewolf' thing, but the original Werelupe design was also one I found lacking, because of how small it is. So, in terms of design, I felt that because the 1:1 ratio of pet images makes it difficult to convey height, a crouching position would give the illusion of height.

New profile pic. Unsure why I hadn't posted this before, but this is the first drawing I made in a very very long time of a Halloween Lupe/Werelupe from Neopets. I did this I think a couple years back? Essentially I had complaints that the new Werelupe design made them quadruped, which contradicts

Okay, I saw this mock-up of the Coyote vs Acme Bluray cover from JB-HIFI, but only now did I realise they actually listed Wile E. Coyote in the listed actors at the top. And Wile E. Coyote's name even comes before John Cena's. 😹

Mock-up of the 'Coyote vs ACME' Bluray cover as featured on JB-HIFI electronics retailer. Depicts a cover with the movie's title on a wrecking ball, and the various characters and cast in the foreground: from left to right, Bugs Bunny, Tasmanian Devil, Granny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Lana Condor, Will Forte, Wile E. Coyote, John Cena, Tweety Bird, John Cena, Yosamite Sam, Sylvester, Roadrunner.

And from what I can tell, Hadrian's favour for Antinous wasn't really a secret either? Like, I think even people writing from less than 100 years from when they lived, recognised how much Hadrian was into Antinous.

erecting statues and artwork publicly around the city, of Antinous looking especially cunty with luscious locks of hair, pouty lips and defined pecs, to minting coins with Antinous' face on them, to deifying Antinous in a religion, to founding an entire-ass city: Antinoöpolis.

You know what I like? Old stories, whether historical or fictional, of gay men. It really tickles my brain. I recently learned of the emperor Hadrian, who had a male lover Antinous, and Hadrian was so stricken with grief when Antinous died, he did everything to immortalise his dead lover, from

Jesus, I had a frickin' fright this morning. My brother let himself in to drop something off today, and the problem is, he brought it to my bedroom. He leaned in, dropped it on my desk and turned left and promptly left, while I looked at him like a deer in headlights. If he turned right, he would-

I remembered my login credentials! Been learning more dishes to my repertoire, and my newest favourite recipe is teriyaki sauce. 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup mirin 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 clove garlic, sliced And simmer in a saucepan on low heat until the desired viscosity

Hank Howell arrived, and is even more handsome in person (and shirtless).

Decided to splurge on dinner tonight, and bought some salmon for raw salmon donburi. As a part of my efforts to eat a bit healthier. I hate how expensive salmon is right now though.

Today's thrift store find: an officially licensed 2016 Game Boy mug with pictures that reveals itself with heat. Not super cheap, but cheaper than on eBay.

Practicing my sushi technique. Getting a bit better at rolling tamago-yaki, and the second is temari-zushi using smoked salmon and capers.

Found a 2012 cursed Spyro plush at a thrift store today. It's a surprisingly good quality plush, felt wings and spines aside, and can even stand up on his feet. Spent a few minutes removing the pilling, and he looks decent now.

But as I was buying groceries, I became immediately aware, that I was a grown-ass overweight man carrying a plush toy in his arms while buying pasta ingredients, like I needed it for emotional support. 😭

Esuriit @esuriit.bsky.social · 30/04/2025

Today I was at the mall, and saw a plushie that was decently cheap for the quality and decided to buy it. But instead of putting it in my car, I thought I'd just carry it under my arm because I still needed to buy groceries and didn't want to walk all the way back to the parking lot.

Sushi is so goddamned labour-intensive.

Three plates of beginner-made sushi. Top plate has six pieces of unagi nigiri, bottom left plate is 6 pieces of California roll, and bottom right plate is mini tamago-yaki sushi.

I haven't seen the Minecraft movies (and probably won't) but I do think the wolf is pretty cute. I went to three different stores and they were all sold out! Until I finally found one at the next store, and it was only one of two left.

Action figure, still in the packaging of Dennis the wolf from the Minecraft movie.

Burrito casserole! It's not a recipe of my creation, but it's one I put a lot of experimentation into, and I'm not sure I can make it tastier. And I assert it's less labour-intensive than lasagne to make.
