Painful to pass up two highly qualified, capable and experienced women candidates, but we voted for @abdulelsayed.bsky.social for Senate and @wewill2026.bsky.social for Congress yesterday. We voted to end US support for Israel. That was it. And we vote blue no matter who in November.

Guessing those 14% are people not responsible for grocery shopping and budgeting. I'm spending upwards of $300 a week to feed my family of 4. I'm dipping into savings to pay bills. Savings won't last long, and then there will be debt. From @hcrichardson.bsky.social

Omg. Stop. Worst email campaign ever. Dems need to get their head out of their asses and focus on the crises at hand.

At a small, family-owned salon in Michigan. They're not a big corporation that is price-gouging. This is a small business that might not survive because of Donnie2Dolls' tariffs.

My youngest found a five leaf clover. The fifth leaf is growing in the middle. Supposedly this means huge good luck, like big life changing good stuff. For a six-year-old, though, that could mean catching a frog in our backyard. Which he also did.

Last Aldi run completed before tariffs fully kick in! Spent about $1500 stocking up our freezer and pantry in the last couple weeks. If there isn't a crisis, we will eat it all anyway...but we are pretty sure there's gonna be a crisis.

It's weird wrapping presents for my Kindergartener's birthday when my country's constitution and government are being systematically overthrown and destroyed in an oligarchic coup. Is this among the last normal things I'm going to do? What happens to my parents when the VA and Medicare are gone?

Hey, I screen-shot the front page of Faux News so you don't have to actually go there to see what the other side is eating up. All the things we're seeing as treasonous, horrifying and power-grabbing, they're projecting proudly as acts of strength. It's beyond scary. #Resist #DocumentEverything

It's not just DEI. It's DEIA - Accessibility for people with disabilities is also on the chopping block. All government workers have been ordered to stop these efforts. Think about what that means. Quote is from historian @hcrichardson.bsky.social, someone you seriously need to follow.

Nobody is going to work sick because they don't want to be bored. We go because we don't get paid otherwise, or would burn all the PTO we need for caring for loved ones when they're sick. Who can afford to miss a whole week of work??? Staying home when sick is a luxury for the rich.
