Tbh, your authoritative tone or messaging is not the best, mate. I did try to de-escalate with the last message - happy to take it offline, or in person if I can remedy any wrongs.

Yeah, done that in the past (I was once part of my local labour group). My way of making the case is working with Scouts kids and doing some minimal stuff around staying safe online. Social media's good for venting every so often though, right. 😅

Lol - can't tell if you're joking 😀

Sigh! Meta earned $83.276 billion (just last year). They've beeing doing this shit for more than a decade! The Careless People from Meta would say this was good business, etc. 🤢

Has anyone made a petition for No.10 North to have a dog? If not, I can get one going ASAP.

I’m considering wearing it while in a Spanish airport (after security and not on the flight of course) 🤣

Working with the NHS atm. Their User research repo is 👌. Bravo to the folk who set it up, manage it, and contribute to it. More of this across gov please.

Wasted lunch! The verify you’re a director of a company is probably the worst gov service I have come across. I’m sure it has nothing to do with the team who developed it and more to do the usual suspects. And yeah, IDV is tricky but bloody hell! Could probably do a whole thesis on the thing.

You might be interested in The Diplomat (The last season on Netflix). Not 100% this scenario, but the parallels are not as far from fiction as some of us would like.

I'm hopeful that social media taught regulators not to wait 2 decades to act. The less positive side of me worries that the hype around AI will encourage them to look away under the guise that any regulation "stifles innovation". www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

It's good Claude let's us focus on the above for this particular activity for our 5 and 7 yr olds. I'm sure another activities can look into teaching them code, etc. Most importanly, they made an atual thing, they enjoyed! Without slaving beyond their capacity, or me doing 95% of the work... 2/4

In just 1.5 hours, the kids and I made 2 games (2 HTML files) suing Claude. Worth a proper write up that I may not get to. But my 2 cents are that the learning objectives are exactly as they should be for now: planning, reasoning, problem solving etc. Not about typos, knowing complex html etc 1/4
