Next up is @drnaomiwalker.bsky.social about Beatrice Tunstall (1889-1966): "Born and grew up in in Grappenhall. As a best selling novelist she based herself in Cheshire. Her subject matters were Cheshire customs, local histories and the countryside." —Warrington Women: An Historical A-Z #ESPRit2026
Local author Beatrice Tunstall described the village of Marbury near Nantwich in 1948 as "far from the madding crow", and praised the "ancient lanes, deep trodden by the feet of endless generation, flower fringed amid the woodlands, with great hedges where honeysuckle and wild roses riot". (Latham, 1999)

On my way back to Paris after three incredible days at the Royal Library of Belgium (KBR) for #ESPRit2026. Beyond the stimulating keynotes and panels, today's highlight was undoubtedly a tour of the library's printing museum with the lovely and knowledgeable Bart Op de Beeck. Many thanks to him!
