last night we went to the Undertale Determination Symphony, which played music for a game i have never played. i watched my friends and hundreds of people around me with their eyes fill of tears for this piece of art that means so much to them. i think secondhand joy is my favorite emotion

My fav DP for shooting this type of stuff is Bradford Young. His work on Selma and Arrival is so so good. Both of those movies look like he shot them with IKEA lamps but when you actually pause and look at a frame every bit of the composition is dripping in great lighting decisions
