VGen commission for Konakoffy! I really love how the rendering turned out ❄️ [ #digitalart #art #drawing ]

An illustration of a pale white icy dragon with a single red scale by their horn. They're looking determined and have a hand raised summoning cold frost and spikes of ice.

The fourth and final entry for @its-soulfy.bsky.social's #witchtember! Thank you so much Luv 🎏 for creating this prompt list, I had SUCH a blast this month challenging myself to design ocs based on the categories they put together! Wish there were more fun events like this one ✨

A witch shrugging off a cloak made of mud, fishing nets, and algae to reveal a lush outfit of vibrant green fabrics beneath. She stands in front of two willow trees with large holes carved into their trunks. In one of these hollows is a tall cabinet with shelves full of colorful elixirs. A ghostly luminescent python rests on her shoulder and receives strokes from her while the rest of its body and tail wraps around her other arm.

Sometimes when I’m petting one of my cats, I think about how coincidental it is that I’m sharing this time alive with them. The universe is eons older then either of us, and there have been so many living beings on this planet alone, and yet we share this moment of time alive together.

Winter: My Secret Christina Rosetti “-Only, my secret’s mine, and I won’t tell. Or after all, perhaps there’s none: Suppose there is no secret after all, But only just my fun.” #art | #ocart | #originalart

A detailed illustration with a heavy traditional feel. It shows my character Arno, dressed in his iconic leather fur lined jacket positioned as if casting a spell. Below his left arm is a a bright pink eye opening in succession, reminiscent of the lunar phases. On his shoulder is a draped blue skeleton copying his movements. It isn’t clear if the skeleton is mimicking him or if he is mimicking the skeleton. The atmosphere is regal, academic, the candle light provides an aura of a warm interior of a study. The candle rests on a wooden shelf with symbols of the moon, the sword and the wand. Above the shelf is an ornamental wooden frame and within it an obscured painting.

Homology

Digital drawing. A burst of hands/forelimbs of a variety of terrestrial vertebrates emerges from the fin of a mostly unseen fishapod in the bottom left corner. The forelimbs gradually point more towards the upper left corner as you move up through the bunch.

Woke up to this news and I’m beyond disgusted. It’s a US *constitutional right* now to create and own ‘CSAM,’ as long as it was made with AI?? AI gen images are built from real images, of real children. This directly re-exploits every single CSAM survivor. (More in 🧵) #abolition #trafficking

A federal judge has ruled that the First Amendment protects an individual's right to privately possess child sexual abuse content created using Al if it does not depict a real person and remains in the home.
On Tuesday, Judge John Z. Lee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th District ruled that the First Amendment protects an individual's right to privately possess images or videos of child sexual abuse created using artificial intelligence if the material does not depict a real person and remains in the home. In his ruling, Judge Lee urged the Supreme Court to reconsider the issue of virtual abuse material of children in the age of Al, suggesting that technological advances complicate existing legal precedent.
The case Lee ruled on came about in 2024 when the Department of Justice brought charges against Steven Anderegg, alleging that he used Al to create thousands of explicit images of children. He was accused of breaking federal obscenity laws by producing, distributing and possessing obscene visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Anderegg sought to have the possession and production charges dismissed under the First Amendment. Last year, a judge in the Western District of Wisconsin agreed to dismiss the possession charge, prompting the federal prosecutors to appeal.
Lee, in his ruling upholding the lower court's decision, cited the precedent set by Supreme Court rulings from 1969 and 2002. One held that individuals have a right to possess obscenity in the privacy of their home. The other found that "virtual" child sexual abuse material, not depicting a real person is not child pornography.
