To those who love to buy stuff (clothes, shoes, accessories, crap), have you ever had to move out? Cheers to owning just a laptop and a few clothes and shoes you've had for years 😌

Update: @developers.google.com manually confirmed the organization name change on the default payment profile. Case finally solved 😮‍💨

Makers of Publer, Linkie, and Kibo

After months of brainstorming and working with Rubin Zerja from STUDIOZ on the new brand (highly recommend), he finally convinced me to drop the Code. Just Kalemi. Simple. Clean. Built to leave a mark and help you leave yours:

Then it evolved into Kalemi Code once I started coding Facebook apps (one of which was Publer). What started as a side project became a product. Then a company. Then came more products, more people, and millions of users worldwide. At some point, Kalemi Code stopped representing what we had become

Everyone knows me as Publer's founder, which is true, but it doesn't tell the whole story. My contribution to the SaaS world didn't start with Publer, nor will it end with Publer. It started with Kalemi Design (I thought designing websites made me a designer).

Update: I created and verified a new payments profile using the same DUNS number. It correctly pulled the new updated organization name. The scary warning went away. I guess I will just delete the old payment profile that still has issues.

Thank you! Apologies for the "spam", but I was/am getting very worried.

Google responded via email: "I reviewed your issue and escalated it to the appropriate team. I appreciate your patience while we look further into your request. I will provide an update as soon as I have information." 🙏

I've tried to appeal their decision and asked for more time, and this is their response. I'm basically stuck.

Please help: my app with ~ 1M downloads is at risk of being removed from the Google Play Store. Only because I legally changed the company name, and @Google doesn't let me confirm the change. Anyone knows a guy who knows a guy? cc: @developers.google.com

Yesterday, I paid $6K+ just to secure the top two spots in the Social Media & Creator Tools category on a random website that went viral this week. Despite being late to the party and the hype already fading. outbid.lol/category/social-media-creator-tools Ego is an expensive attribute.

Instead, do one of these: a) Set up a Cloudflare Worker to intercept and route the requests (ping me for the code) b) Set up a Smart Link on Linkie (more info at linkie.bio/features/smart-links) You can test it live on Publer's link in bio: linkie.bio/publer One download the app button, not two.

Ervin Kalemi @ervinkalemi.com · 19/08/2026

Why two separate links to download the same mobile app? Why do I have to remember whether I need the Play Store or the App Store? Such a waste of screen space for a link-in-bio page ...
