#journey #journeygame #art #digitalpainting #digitalart I hit my 'skill wall' and sadly couldn't do what I envisioned, but I still believe this is an upgrade from the first fanart I did to Journey 💖

biased as I am, I would argue it is as good if not better than Frieren in the way it writes characters. the big problem is: the studio who animated the first three seasons, before Wit recently picked up from where they left, was extremely low budget, so not much flair in terms of animation

I never did post croquis anywhere huh... I improved a lot since but it's fine I guess this is a "haute couture dress with a bodice in a Greekish motif". styled to fit an specific friend's preferences and body 🌿 #art #digitalart #croqui

when you try writing a story, but your references and inspirations are actually well-written media, and now your brain is frying from studying real-life history, philosophy, biology, and psychology as a basis to build the world and characters

Designing a character from the comic I'm (trying to) write My major inspirations for worldbuilding are Ascendence of a Bookworm, Warframe, and Frieren (their writing caught my autistic attention for months) I expect it to take many years to come into fruition, but the idea motivates me a lot :)

aaaa tysm! because I'm fairly new to this world much of what I do is a "experimental afterthought", criticism really helps to make the lessons stick 🩷

thank you! the hands were simpler in the sketch but i had to redo since fingers cant bend a certain way (and the line variation is the product of a lot of time spent zoomed in 🥲)
