Yo-hi! Welcome to Rift City! This has been a little worldbuilding project of mine since June 2024 when I made Arbino and The Master. I wanted to share some info spoken through Arbino to give an introduction to it. It's inspired by VR stuff and music! #OriginalCharacter #OC #RiftCity

Arbino explaining the fictional Rift City and how they enjoy living in it.

Arbino introduces themselves and how they got into the Rift Dash League as their career.

Arbino explains what Rift Dash is and how it works. They then gush about the Rift Dash League administration.

Happy birthday, Beat Saber!! Thanks for being one of the greatest games I've ever played! I've made a lot of friends through this community, and I can't wait to see what more the devs have in store for us.

"Things change after all, don't they?" Dropping a wee bit of Arbino lore after I had some fun with a lil pastel brush I used in Krita. #OriginalCharacter #OC #RiftCity

A top panel has a child Arbino sitting on a bench with a backpack and the phrase "Everyone will always be here for you" above their head. On the panel below, they're looking a bit sadder and down to the side as an adult as the word "Always." is repeated above their head.

Happy Easter from Keiko, the moody girl who loves rabbits! She doesn't actually know what the holiday is, she just heard something about bunnies and went with it. #originalCharacter #OC #Easter

Keiko, an original character, dressed as a rabbit holding up a peace sign and saying "Happy Easter or whatever."

Happy #MAR10 Day!! What's your favorite Mario game? Mine is probably Super Mario Sunshine! I used to play that game to death when I was a kid. Honestly didn't even realize it was known for being buggy LMAO

I am so excited for warm weather to be back, you have no idea. We're so close. It's March, which means it's almost April, which means it's almost May, and THEN it's super warm. (No I am not a lizard)

I can't even begin to tell you how much joy I have experienced in finding a song in high-quality that I had been looking for for like 4 years. Anyways, if gave me the fuel to do this under 2 hours. This is Mitóco! #OriginalCharacter #OC

The desire to make a whole post about my OC lore (Rift City), but wanting to present it in drawing format so now I gotta make that. >:) Then everything else I post from here will, like, make sense.

The joy in #worldbuilding is coming up with endless explanations for random things. The agony in worldbuilding is figuring out what layer of explanations you should stop at before you create a secret underground society that has its own arc and st- god dammit.

The Master and Arbino done by my friend, Lohkim_art over on Insta! TM would absolutely use Arbino as an armrest, given their size difference... and the fact that TM's a jerk, but ya know. Check out Lohkim's cool work too! www.instagram.com/lohkim_art/?... #OriginalCharacter

The Master is resting his arm on Arbino's head as Arbino has their arms crossed and is looking at The Master with a grin.

Another The Master drawing that I made for the first birthday of the song that inspired the OC. Celebrating fictional songs' birthdays is soo cool actually, pass it on. #BeatSaber #OriginalCharacter

Errn's original character inspired by the song The Master depicted as holding a Beat Saber bloq with a chevron hovering over his head.

The thing that I love about rhythm game communities like #ProjectArrhythmia, #JSaB, and #BeatSaber is that artists will make the coolest-looking characters you'll ever see, and what was the inspiration? A square. Those characters will have incredible lore, btw. It's so fun dude.

I love #OneShot. ProphetBot is my favorite. I would hang out with ProphetBot all day, so I'm putting a fan character next to him. Go, my... ArtiBot.

Two robots from OneShot sitting together while one in a dinosaur hoodie shows the other that it drew him in a sketchbook.

Ok first real post gonna be my OC I made back in June 2024. His name is The Master, and he's inspired by the song of the same name by Boom Kitty and Teminite. I thought it'd be really funny if while playing the level in #BeatSaber this chevron robot guy just straight-up runs at you to beat you up.

Drawing of a robot character imposed over a screenshot from the "The Master" lightshow in the VR game Beat Saber. He has two blades coming out of his gloves and is lunging at the viewer.

Being an adult is super cool because I can just go out and buy juice boxes if I really want to, but then I gotta sit down and do my taxes, and then it's not as fun... but hey at least I can sip my juice box while doing so.
